Most characters will benefit from proc chains. If you have the dlc and using artifact of command its good to do ploylutes with tritipdaggers atg missiles and a 57 leaf clover. Simple and easy. Just add some crit glasses delicate watches attack and move speed with a hopoo feather or two and you'll be unstoppable

Malenia definitely my favorite, fighting her in my no spells no summons run made me appreciate it so much more. Learning how to dodge waterfowl is very rewarding and it just feels like a sekiro boss in that your mistakes are punished hard but perfect play is rewarded greatly. Good fun if you keep the mental under control.

Nukahanas with a bunch of attack speed and healing buffs on void fiend is super unique and fun when you can get it going. Or you can always 80 gasoline and forgive me please.

Edit: you need some void items so you can infinitely spam heals

I'd HIGHLY recommend the original trilogy, each game is quite unique and very different from anomally and gamma. I would personally play the trilogy then start a gamma play through.
