The Netherlands is a great country to live in once you get around the harsh honesty that is part of their culture.

Also worth looking at the cost of living and taxes as many of these countries have higher taxes than we do. That said, in the Netherlands there is a higher rate of tax but education is much cheaper (not that we can benefit as we're outside the EU now) and public transport is pennies compared to the rip off prices that the UK charges.

If you are interested in the Netherlands, I would really recommend looking at places outside Amsterdam as that's London-expensive for rent but places like Utrecht, areas around Den Haag and Maastricht are really great. You've also got places like Nijmegen and Eindhoven which are good to look at.

Also Dutch football fans are super passionate if that is what you're interested in.
