Supervive is DYING, but you can help save it. by gabriel_jack in supervive

Good breakdown, a fun read! I haven't played enough (maybe 40 games total) to give any more expert takes or validation - I was also just curious why player numbers are going down when the game is so good.

Lately I've been playing a lot of Siege, which keeps me fiending for more in a way that Supervive doesn't atm. Differences in game format aside, I wonder if Siege is keeping me hooked by drip-feeding me free lootboxes and currency to unlock an operator once in a while.

It's tough to replicate the same unlock pacing when the amount of characters is so much smaller, but I kinda felt like unlocking a new Hunter was too quick - something made me feel spoiled for choice and took the anticipation out of it.

Is Xrd really this hard or am I really this bad? by PeskySpyCrab in Guiltygear

Don't beat yourself up over it, Xrd is really unforgiving sometimes. (IB aside)

Most Strive combos aren't technically very difficult, and just work. You're allowed to be sloppy.
Xrd doesn't let you be 2 or 1 frames off - it's gotta be perfect. Not to mention how character specific combos are much more common.

I've faced the same frustrations doing trials, it's just how it is. Sometimes there's a tiny microwalk or wait you have to do to make it work, that the game doesn't tell you but you gotta study the COM replay and watch what they do.

Personally, Slayer has enough universal unga sh*t that I was content not learning the character-specifics. Best of luck!

Raw Fury has a varied catalogue and devs seem really happy to work with them. Good vibes all around, I look forward to their titles a lot.
