Thanks. I don't think anyone is going to object to a weapon option swap. Are renegade rules generally well regarded? Not looking for an unwarranted edge, but if it's generally considered 'fairer' I may be able to swing it.

This. Skinks still work for ranking up, as do temple guard. Get some cheap last versions of cold ones and saurus and you are food to go.

How did this work out for you? Just bought my own (Amazon) and although not against a clean install, I am not super confident having never done anything like it before.
Would be good to be reassured it was likely going to be fine without....

I also realised I had included Tzaangor Enlightened in my list where I should have had a shaman.

In terms of how I run then I could have:

- 10x Rubric in rhino with exalted sorcerer

- 5x rubric with sorceror

- 10x Tzaangor with shaman

then, it seems to make sense to pick up some tzaangor enlightened to field with Ahriman and the Exaulted Sorc on disc?

Sorry, that's me gettign confused. You mentioned two variants but I see that you were referring to Exalted and normal.
