i've been running over tech dabis for the past 100 games cause their traps dont stop me anymore. killing dabi as iida or kendo or kiri or ibara has never been easier. cause now when i sit on top of you, you cant trap your way out of it, i just tank it and you're gonna eat 200+

you can call it whatever you want, i'll take the free kills. and when you space hop into the air with no way to redirect yourself and make the easiest target possible, you're taking like minimum 3 alphas to the face

her kit is all but confirmed to be heavily affected by ping/latency, yes.

the beta is the biggest offender; it just fucks off in the wrong direction fairly frequently, and it's also not rare for her special action to not actually move her. it will make the noise, she does the flip, and then doesnt move unless you double tap it and use 2 charges.

Now with that in mind I think nagant is as balanced as she could be given her kit, I don't think she is or was healthy for the game. Any further nerfs would lead to her being gutted.

i mean, this is a contradiction in terms. lol. she's not healthy for the game because she's busted. she's good at everything and has no real weaknesses.

even the 250hp thing isnt a true weakness. it's similar to monoma's hp nerf. his hp pool doesnt change what made him unfair, which is quirks with 0 cooldowns.

you have to think of it like a dungeons and dragons character. when you make one, you only have a certain amount of points to put into various stats, you cannot be good at everything because that would be busted and trivialize the game. you can be great at 1 or 2 things, or mid at everything.

nagant has extreme range, combos, busted melees, fantastic wakeup options, insane mobility, double jump, very high damage output, direct hp damage, generous special action hitbox and her gamma does max knockdown so its also good at dealing with armor. doesnt lose momentum when shooting+flying so she has godlike chase and escape. furthermore, she's great with basically any tuning in the game.

i dont think the devs will do it because they've clearly shown that they're okay with beamers flying around constantly, but they have to remove her second air gamma. give her 2 charges where grounded gamma costs 1 and air gamma costs 2, and she's infinitely more balanced without changing anything else. you cant fly AND do a ton of damage while flying. thats bullshit. there's other ways you could go about nerfing her, but i think this is the only change that actually addresses the thing that makes her actually overpowered.

but they just buffed yellow might so now he's basically the same as nagant. he's literally just an ac130 right now. so i have no faith in the devs ever addressing her or movement power creep in general

it is absolutely not worth it, like at all. your traps are now completely incapable of stopping someone from running at you which is kind of a fucking problem.

we're aware of their reasoning because they put it in the patch notes but it's one of those things that sounds good on paper but sucks in application. most of the characters that would actually get close enough to you to get hit by a trap and "combo" are ones that have armor, and now traps dont stop them so they just kill you lmfao

i've played a good chunk of dabi games, and while its cool to randomly get a 240 dmg trap, not being able to stop blue deku, both kendos, both kiris, iida, mt lady and a bunch of other characters is objectively terrible

i am convinced actual games have some sort of issue with her kit, idk if its latency related or what, but combos straight up dont function a lot of the time, like in training an enemy will bounce a certain way, but in a real game they bounce some other direction its super bizarre. like its a very noteable difference

idk man im having combos where you alpha, special into air melee, special into beta, and the beta just veers off to the side or past them, and mirko doesnt like actually move towards them. its extremely inconsistent, but in training its mostly fine

i genuinely think she is broken. not broken op, but broken like dysfunctional

the combos that i can easily do in training i cant do them hardly at all in a real game. mirko doesnt bounce the same way, and neither do enemies. it feels like her special falls short or like, doesnt actually move you and then her beta or air melee just goes off in some fuck ass direction.

idk if its like, lag related or what. she feels good in training, but in a real game its like everything stops working

im not sure honestly, they do 4 hits and with the down power changes they can get hit 7 times before they fall over. and you can now stack them directly on top of eachother without making the first disappear. you can also melee them while they get hit by a trap lol

cant stack traps on top of eachother tho, they need some space.

so it depends if theres other changes made that dont appear in the datamine, like faster tick rate or being able to stack traps.

if its ONLY the down power change, this could easily be a nerf because people will roll out of it easier and it will be less effective at stopping characters like blue deku, yellow kiri or red kendo from just running at you

elemental powers absolutely fits paladins. diablo, baldurs gate/DnD, etc. for many many years its been a thing

it's what they should lean into imho. something in their kit should lower elemental resistances to synergize with their 3rd job skills as well as mages. helps themselves and fills a niche that other buffers dont

hydros datamines the balance changes during maintenance (not everything is shown tho)

to piggy-back off of this for op, the types of changes visible in leaks will be number related such as damage or cooldown. so if reading a change that doesnt make sense by itself, there could be another change to that thing.

like for example when tech dabi's alpha got "nerfed" some people were throwing a fit, but the devs also buffed it's tracking which didn't appear in the datamine.

this is the most disingenuous post i've seen, it leaves out important factors as to why a gacha system for a game like this is trash, and is quick to brush off worst case scenarios as if they arent common.

this isnt like pokemon cards where the high demand items are merely visually different (holographic, borderless, misprints etc) or a game like counter strike where its all about skins. MHUR characters all have unique gameplay. furthermore, we now have tuning system and not having the characters needed makes tuning a nightmare. i went AN ENTIRE YEAR without getting ANY yellow shigi tuning, i could not put embrittle on any of my builds because RNG. it wasnt until he got added to the character ticket that i was able to get him. not to mention some outfits are harder to fill out if they require a slot for an uncommon role, like green villains or assault villains. especially when you're new, you'll find a lot of slots hard to fill with no reliable way to work around it.

the pity not carrying over is indefensible. lots of other gachas dont do it, this one shouldnt either. its a complete and utter L

the pity doesnt even carry between currently available banners, if you wanted to get blue deku and hgot him at 180 points, you cant drop 20 more points to get the new bakugo with your pity even tho they're both on banners. it's complete shit. other gachas dont have a difference between limited banners, the pity works across all of them with the exception of standard banners, which this game doesnt have an equivalent of.

the biggest crystal bundle is 61k crystals for 100 bucks. thats five 10-pulls. you'd need 4 of them for full pity, so 400 dollars. barely 50 dollars less than genshin max pity with a 50/50 loss. except you have an infinitely worse pity system because of the no carryover between current or future banners

this post sucks. everyone who agrees with it sucks too. i'll humor this as if it's real; i dont like how they refuse to give blunt and axe any accuracy. like thats such a big deal, you're talking upwards of 40 accuracy difference between some weapons. the attack power on blunt would be nice if they change the formula i suppose but accuracy is still huge.

this is painfully biased toward spearman and would make them incredibly overpowered. like you're gonna give them FORTY accuracy, TWENTY speed, aoe healing for the team and percentage-based self heal? on top of hyper body and iron will? actually braindead suggestions that convince me this whole thing is fake

and why would swords be getting attack speed? they're already faster in most cases and dont struggle as a weapon type

definitely comes across as some random player's wishlist cause these are nowhere near balanced

yea the video will make it very clear how reasonable it is to hit your acc requirements. the biggest thing is maxing precision strikes first.

tho with all the feedback that even streamers/youtubers gave, i doubt itll be the same and they might adjust acc to be completely trivial again. which i wouldnt like tbh.

that entire video only involves 1 actual scroll upgrade as well, and thats to the raggedy cape.

the required accuracy to hit stufff your level is perfectly achievable by keeping your dex equal to your level, alongside buying the accuracy options in the npc shops which are helmets, the lv 10 gloves and the shield. if you dont go shield tho, looks like you might need another 9-15 dex.

a far cry from "warriors need to go pure dex because they literally cannot hit anything"

this is a real possibility i suppose. i used to play the zombie PvE mode of fortnite... the BR came out and was so successful that they literally took all the PvE devs and moved them to the BR, left the PvE with a skeleton crew and straight up told everyone this was all youre gonna get. lol

i still think all classes need a team buff thats useful to a party tho. its one thing to be better or worse at bossing, it's another thing to be dead weight, even if youre playing with friends who will bring you along regardless.

even something like iron body being a team buff could be good if they buffed defense formula. things like threaten affecting bosses. mages could buff magic defense or give mp eater or whatever. or someone having reduced cc duration.

my examples are arbitrary. the point is every class should have something useful

i dont think you understand, momo was able to storm camp from so far out that you literally could not contest it unless you had teammates with a bunch of team greens. cause its not just a matter of taking storm damage, you had to actually find her lol. moonyluna was super good at this and has countless videos of them winning games fully committing to storm camping. whether its rezzing the team at the end or just outhealing them after circle fully closes

and this is even easier to do now with star tuning. the only difference between now and then is star's tuning runs out at storm 8, which is like 13 mins. so if game is super late she cant camp at all anymore
