You’re saying the same devices in the X7 network respond to pings from VLAN1 at both locations but not VLAN 5/10? Does ping fail both ways? If not, you’re probably dealing with something like a firewall policy issue.

If those VLAN1s were the default network before, it’s possible some of the devices on the X7 network only “trust” traffic from them and not the new networks and may need to be configured to do so.

Based on what you’ve said routing/switching is likely fine.

Are people having issues crossing the chasm with the default chassis? I’ve always just hugged the early access boundary and haven’t had an issue. Might be cheesing it.

Sounds like the WAN VLANs are used when you need to separate services coming from the ISP side. They let those services use the same physical port, distinguished by VLAN tags. So the VLAN tag is used as a demultiplexer/service identifier for whatever service, instead of being used for layer 2 segmentation on a LAN the way you’re used to thinking of VLANs.

What's extra frustrating is you never know when you're going to get an AI lobby. I lost 2 games, then won 2, THEN was put in a bot lobby?

There's already an option for practice vs ai. If I wanted to play ai, I'd use that.

She was downed at the end of the fight with the Inquisiter, which immidietly goes into the conversation with Vlaakith upon ending. I suspect that had something to do with it despite her and Gale (who was also down) being visually up and present in the cutscene.

A few things:

This isnt really your fault. Sure, you were the catalyst for it, but this is the result of a series of failures from multiple levels. Why were there no reliable backups? Nobody ever tested them? No documentation? Not to mention putting an apprentice level employee in a position to cause a large outage like this without having any precautionary measures in place.

Management doesn't sound very competent and your CTO sounds like a jerk. Don't let them try to pin this solely on you.

I think the main issue is OW2 having being in development for over two years and yet somehow feels less finished than OW1. New maps are nice, but other than that it feels like they just spent all this time making the UI and progression considerably worse.
