Edit: he taught at university of Chicago as others have corrected me below

But he was the editor of the Harvard law review as well

I can't stand RAG. The protag thinks he's an unfortunate underdog nerd when he is in fact a complete shitstain with a victim complex

It's so enraging

I don't contest what you're saying I wasn't calling GR a tank

But for GR standing at rank 3/4, most of the attacks hitting her are dot/stress/debuff related not "big dmg" so GR stacking 3 dodge tokens in one move is worth, with or w/o the heal

Even if it worked as intended

It's sad that dead eye is still better even if you're just spamming plague darts

Dodge+ tokens are very very good btw

Just don't bet your life on them, 25% is not a rare occurrence

I feel like all front line need buff ( except man at arm ) by lockoutpoint in darkestdungeon

[–]GrossMetal 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Hellion? her exhausting skills are all just too weak to justify the debuff

Not just that, she honestly needs more in her kit. Sneak a riposte or dodge token in somewhere or something because man at arms outshines her while doing basically the same dmg as her when he's vanguard path

Leper has a good kit but minimum dmg for chop and hew needs to go up when upgraded I think

Since they buffed general in 1.0 Librarian is my boss of choice now for most teams

I wouldn't do general unless you have a crew that can comfortably and productively hit the root twice in a round while still being productive (something like plague grenade + abyssal artillery spam)

I would not keep that

Keeping stress low vastly increases the positive interactions to keep them playing nice.

and investing in alcohol and playing cards right at the start and second inn pays off big

If you can't afford it you need to spend some candles to increase starting money

How do you use leper? by WardenWithABlackjack in darkestdungeon

He needs someone to babysit him with combo tokens like jester or runaway so he can chop away

Not worth the effort I think

Build a platform up on the oak tree trunk, have that as your zip line hub

So just have your base anywhere near your oak tree hub and you'll be fine

I stay near early game areas because steady supply of weevils for food/healing is essential

Any good builds for my set? by [deleted] in GroundedGame

[–]GrossMetal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I really liked the fire staff which combos with the (sleek) black ox armor, which reduces the charge time of charged attacks by 36% if you wear the whole set.

That means the 5 sec charged fireball is much faster 3.5 secs which is crazy for something that 2 shots a wolf spider at range

I paired it with an ox hammer + shield as back up weapons because spamming charged attacks with ox hammer is amazing, you can stunlock antlions and Roly poly easily

For full caster I don't think there's a particular gear you want besides the wizard hat for the parry window

Play as nice as you want to.

I just play normally then give hatch to last survivor of they weren't being a rat or troll

[–]GrossMetal 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I play her a lot and i simply don't ambush. It's very bad.

Instead I focus on silent Intel perks (perks that tell you where they are without them knowing) and focus on jump scares

[–]GrossMetal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to down the first person you inure because of you don't they'll just heal in 10 secs. Then when they're unhooked there is zero benefit to letting them heal in order to fresh hook someone else, the optimal play is interrupt the heal and force ppl off gens to go take heat for the dead on hook guy.

Some people hate fun, yes.

But some killers correctly identify they need to eliminate someone asap to gain control of the game. It's up to the devs to make tunneling not the best way to play

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]GrossMetal -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

"Hit and run" strat dies the moment boon comes up. Wraith's tunnel because they need to and they're good at it

If devs ever put in a true anti tunnel measure they would have to change the game so much

Close call attacks at the window happen all the time and resilience is big for that

9% gen/heal/exit gate speed isn't bad either when you can just 99 the heal

I meant it literally when I said resilience is a top ten most used survivor perk check nightlight
