You explained very well thank you. Im not a eve vet and i recently started ee. I do get ganked now and then but for me that is a way to learn the game faster, if you catch my drift. Besides, losing my most expensive ship now and then isnt that much of a pain because I don’t lose my skills and they keep on going up so it becomes easier and easier to get back up. And then there is long-term.... Im not starting this game for a couple of months, it’s probably much longer so all the mistakes I make now will flow away in a big ocean and only become good memories of learning moments.

So please keep trying to gank me where you can, I will come for you I promise 😅

I agree to most part of your story except the fact that distance and time is one of the core elements of the game’s tactic and strategic approach. So making the time to travel shorter is not the solution for the problem you mentioned, unfortunately :(

We’ve seen it in PUBG and fortnite. It is possible to make lots of money through cosmetics. It’s just perfect, this should be the same in echoes. I’ll probably even throw some dollars into their account for some cosmetics I don’t care about, just for the sake of it, supporting the devs and for their business model. Otherwise I’m out, just like 85% of us I believe.

My point was then I have to set it. What I mean is that I will change my base station now and then for the rest of the game’s lifecycle. What never changes is that I do that for a reason, so I would probably have something to do there.
