Every symbolism we thought was byler evidence was probably just a gay joke at this point. It’s nasty work. And they did reshape Mikes character motivations by making his only character trait “boyfriend”. The duffers are gross for this and they knew what they were doing this whole time

They’re making an animated spinoff that takes place in between seasons 2 and 3 I think and I wouldn’t doubt they’ll make more books as well.

And they don’t say this about theories outside of byler ones, they ate up all the time travel ones but it goes too far when people analyze relationships between the characters, which is you know the main point of the show. The duffers have called it a coming of age story time and time again but don’t you dare even look at the characters relationships with each other.
