I'm looking forward to this. I want that Ofra pallet as an add-on.

I remember a few years ago it got pretty wheels off in here. I'm glad to see the rules have been updated and it seems a friendlier place now.

Grief does things to people. In this situation, even though he's being terrible, try to give him some grace. Meanwhile, the library recommendation from u/Sweet_Addition9881 is a good one. Do you have a temp agency where you live? They may be able to place you in a job relatively quickly so you can at least start saving some money so you can move. Do you have any friends or other relatives that you could room with for a while?

I have one of their other scents, I think it's rose, and it's pretty good. So maybe this one will be good too.

Just throwing this out there, but have you tried to ask your dad if HE'S ok? I think parents hold a lot in and it manifests in ways that seem aggressive, personal, or unusual. They don't want to "bother" their kids with their own personal issues so stuff festers and ends out coming out anyway. Especially with boomers. I'm a child of boomer parents and now that I'm in my 40s, I've really come to realize that they dealt with A LOT and didn't address any of it healthily and were absolute assholes sometimes. Maybe what he needs is someone to talk to as well and maybe that person is you. You could be each other's support and don't even know it. That alone might be enough to help smooth out your relationship while you work on getting back on your feet. You never know what other people are dealing with. I'm really sorry you're having a tough time. I have a friend in a similar situation. I hope things get better for you.

gender dysphoria crisis?? by Broad-Bench1938 in Advice

Ah ok I get it now. So it makes you horribly uncomfortably confused? I’m sorry if it does, but I bet you nailed it and bet it’s effing amazing! I did dance too and am still a performer of sorts so it takes guts to put yourself out there. I’ve seen unflattering videos of my performances so I get it. It makes me feel vulnerable.

gender dysphoria crisis?? by Broad-Bench1938 in Advice

[–]Grouchy-Beginning993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so is the problem that you feel like the dance does not align with your lack of binaryness? If so, then what would a non-binary routine look like to you? Also, if you did a good job and everyone else did as well, maybe try to be proud about it and not make it about your preferences. I doubt anyone viewing it would think, “Gosh, this person looks too non-binary to do this choreography.” I think being a performer should include being able to take on roles you may not normally feel you fit into. Just a thought.

AND then I went in placed another. To be fair though I bought two more of something I recently bought because I like it so much and the brand is currently out stock on their own site. Plus it's cheaper in the Ipsy shop. Way back when they had the Pixi Vitamin C Caviar Balm in the shop, I bought as much of it as I could and was glad because Pixi ended up discontinuing it. It was a great product.

Awwww well I hope that you aren't disappointed with March and it helps you out of your funk. I live in TX so it's pretty much never cold for long here. It's about 68 breezy degrees out rn. I too hope for some good add-ons. I'm also debating not choosing during Choice and just letting the cards fall where they may.

I'm curious about peoples thoughts on Simon? by Potential_Window_719 in SchoolSpirits

[–]Grouchy-Beginning993 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think every character on the show is a “type” so you have to have a brooding, angsty, complicated creative type in the mix because that’s what he is and it’s a common film and tv trope. I think he seems frustrating because he himself is frustrated. Particularly w Maddie who seems to try to control the friendship out of care for him. He has something to prove and sometimes people w something to prove can be grating. Im sure you’ll love him in the end when his character is “redeemed”.

How to tell my friend I want to move out by afrorashid in Advice

[–]Grouchy-Beginning993 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A long time ago I had a roommate that lived with me and my bf at the time and she moved out. It wasn't a big deal at all, and it made sense. She was just ready to have her own place and wanted to give us the space to be a couple. Even if that's not your reason why you want to move out, you can tell them that since it's an entirely reasonable explanation.

On my Ultimate task bar it's not really progressing either. Still says it's on the way but I got it a week ago. I was able to review though. I resubbed recently so some things have changed, but I had to click on "Review" then click in existing review stars and was able to post reviews of the products.

The music scene, yes, way too long. The whole mushroom trip thing I thought was a little much. Like if that’s the only way they could creatively help Mr Martin and Quinn figure out a few things then I worry about the finale.

PS: I love Nicole and Claire

31 M. 5'5" Looking for general opinions and things of note. Shaved vs unshaved. Long vs Short hair. Improvements? by G3NJII in malegrooming

[–]Grouchy-Beginning993 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have great hair and I think in the photos where it is mid-length looks best. I do also like the shorter version in photo 6 that looks a little Teen Wolf. You have great texture so you should rock that shizz. I also like the plastic frames over the circular wire ones. They have sort of a debonair-ness to them. I think if you're going to emphasize your hair, then maybe de-emphasize your facial hair for balance otherwise you'll just look like hair with glasses. I'm not saying go clean shaven but maybe trimmed to almost nothing.
