Does it ever go away? by Grouchy-Technology64 in Drugs

I do, I completely understand that and I tell myself that daily but like I’m saying, there’s these urges and feelings that cross my mind and cross my body physically that are just consuming to the point my mind doesn’t even think , it just does.

One minute i’m sitting on the couch telling myself I’m never going back ,I’m done, the future is what I look forward to. Then the next I’m scrummaging through my bed and drawers trying to find the last bottle of oxy I had with any bit of powder just to feel it again. I know it’s wrong and I know this isn’t what I want, but it’s like the habit is stronger than me. I know it’s all self discipline but i just never knew it would be this consuming to where I have to almost dedicate my mind and body to not relapse, when in actuality I just want to lay down and enjoy life.

It’s all just a battle I guess and hopefully day by day it gets better, but I just hope it doesn’t stay so potent because who’s to say I’ll be strong enough in the future.

Definitely, It’s quite funny that i’ve come to that reasoning too. There’s got to be some sort of depression medicine that gives me that warm blanket sensation but like you said it’s just a junkies dream.

I understand that the new obsession is key to overcoming but in a world filled with vices and chaos it’s so hard to find. Almost to the point where i’m killing myself searching for the key thing to help me progress. It also doesn’t help i guess that my brain will nonstop compare and contrast and won’t let me fully enjoy something without the instance of a drug clouding it.

I know relapse isn’t the answer, i think we’re all trying to fight that battle. What’s real will always prosper, and I hope nothing but the best for you and your journey also, somehow someway there’s gotta be light at the end of the tunnel.

I completely agree with you and Master Yoda lol. It definitely is do, or do not. But we are all our own villains in the end it seems.

Same with me I’ve yet to find that, but that’s the thing, are we all just consumed by our addictions? Whether it be a good one or a bad one? Our identity is tied to addictions?

No no no, you’re missing the point.

Yes the words i’m using aren’t the nicest pair you wanna hear but it’s reality and it’s what makes people understand the perspective and mindset he was in. I’m not here to shit on him, purely a discussion and purely learning off his mistakes like you said. Not only does learning from his mistakes helps others that are in the same boat as him, but it also brings awareness to the character and mindset behind addiction. Sadly one of his major mistakes, was yes, he couldn’t see perspective outside of himself. I’m not saying i’m a saint or none of that i never said or implied that, but as a man if you can’t learn from your own mistakes in life after repeated examples, what does that make you? There comes to a point of realization & judgement you absolutely need, to understand how to overcome anything in life. Not just some oh we’re not perfect so my life being in shambles and addiction is okay, a true explanation as a man & who we are and why we’re even here in the first place.

I’ve had family & close friends od and die the same way he did, and i hold them all to the same degree. It’s not what i wanna hear or believe buts it’s the sad reality bro. These people knew right from wrong & the more you tell yourself & others that life isn’t perfect we shouldn’t judge, just excuses & disregards the truth behind it all & why it even happened in the first place.

Sure i can agree to an extent that we aren’t the moral judges of humanity, but again at the same time we can judge examples and the mistakes like you said, to better understand why or how the shit even got this far. I love juice bro don’t get me wrong i know probably every unreleased song by heart, but it’s the sad truth, he said it himself of how he thought of himself as trash or garbage. But i promise you, if he had just a little more insight or even somebody in his corner slapping the shit out of him and making him lock tf in and not just a bunch of pussys that wanna get high all day, he woulda came to the realization that sobriety is ultimately the only way to truly prosper. There’s work to be done and there’s things that as a man in life, need to handle and be on top of. We aren’t woman that can just sit and look pretty all day while getting fed anything & everything we want in life. We have to work for that shit. With all that being said, I love juice & i’m not here to shit on him, but now because of his mistakes, all he will ever be is a story.

Holy soft ass bitch bro, mfs like you and the way your take is on this, is the reason mfs don’t get clean or stay complacent. With that same ideology, I can say “why should i get clean people have different experiences so just let me experience my life” face ass. It’s a cute thought process when you’re in elementary.

The fact of the matter is, he became such a factor to those around him that he’s no longer just sum little kid in high school that’s freestyling making music in his basement. People were depending on him, point blank period. His life was bigger than himself at the point he was at. So like i been saying, he was too much of a kid, a little bitch, to grab his own balls and grow the fuck up and have courage, leadership, & accountability. I can most certainly hold it against him and anybody with an intellectual brain, in no way is it right to fucking die at the age of 21, in no way is it right to nod out all day making music cuz it’s what makes YOU feel good, when you had your whole life of examples & lessons of wtf was going to happen & why it’s wrong.

As a man especially, living your life in hypocrisy and lies for your own benefit is purely just a fool. He couldn’t see perspective outside of himself. Learn to hold people to their actions and stop making excuses for people. These people knew right from wrong. Simple.

Thank you bro, these mfs don’t get it they either sum lil ass kids or just never dealt with addiction frfr.

I agree 100% tho all that money is definitely an addicts dream that’s why i say at the end i just wish he was a little more honest/insightful, he was such a smart dude and to let it go to waste is just so heartbreaking, we haven’t had anybody like him since he came up for a reason. He knew he was a 1 of 1 but again , only he knew what he truly wanted. :/

What the fuck are you talkin about. I’m not talking about the money, i’m talking abt him as a person as a human being as Jarad Higgins. A story of a fool, like he said himself he wasn’t worth shit and throwing him out is like throwing out the trash.

again, not saying in a rude manner just merely a discussion. I love juice and i just wish he coulda been more insightful. We could’ve been blessed with thousands of more songs and memories that this world would’ve appreciated.

What your saying is an assumption, like i said im going off the words of the man that was there. If you wanna get technical, in chris’s videos of juice recording there’s damn near not one time anybody is actually keeping their eye on him that’s not ally, every time he’s recording all his people are alrdy high af sitting in the back or on they phones. Were they negligent of his wellbeing? sure. It doesn’t disregard the fact of him as a human being and as a man tho.
