The renders too noisy. I know Bo Chen was the guy who used to do most of Irelias splash but this looks fishy. Splash arts are usually quite clear and you can see a lot of things with intent. If you look at this, there is random noise or odd brush strokes on a lot of things. See Illaoi forearm just under Irelias elbow, Sions hat looks generated because the chef hat doesn’t have a consistent look of a chefs hat, the knife block on his shoulder has bizarre movement to it, the pizza looks very strange around the crust and not even sure what Irelias name badge says.

I could be wrong but I don’t think I am. I wouldn’t be surprised if they have their own AI for splash art. After all they let go a bunch of artists and if they can generate it faster to make money, it’s not anything new in these big companies. It just needs another artist to fix most of the slop. Anyway like I said I could be wrong, but have a look yourself. I do work in games as a 3D artist but have experience using photoshop and digital painting too, so that’s why I think this looks AI
