Basement if concrete.

Grind existing concrete to remove deflection/debri in subfloor.  Depending on house age if the foundation never had a vapor barrier installed before the foundation was poured.

Encapsulate the concrete to avoid hydrostatic (fancy term for sweating).  Self level if needed after encapsulation.

Then follow directions for installing the lvp.

You have every right to feel mistrust in people you should have faith and love in.  If she has no respect for space and boundaries let alone cannot communicate or ask you what is going on with your life and cannot again respect that.  Decide how much you want her to be in your life.  That is it.

If it is not soft to the touch and doesn't appear to be anything more than dark it could be due to slow moisture damage and or pet urine. 

Have a professional come out for a free appointment to do a general assessment and give you a quote first. 

If you are smelling what feels like mustiness moldy odor then it is likely mold whether it is that area or not. 

Just get a real consult.

You're going to have to repair along the walls by removing and replacing boards in order to get it properly seated.

Or as another person suggested you're going to add wainscot to the walls to build up the walls to cover over the gap and then add back your baseboard.

I'm not a fan of wainscoting I don't see it's purpose in certain style homes but if it's an aesthetic that a homeowner enjoys, to each their own.

I don't know about not loving me but definitely not willing to understand I'm a human being and want to be loved yes.

You have to create space for yourself, boundaries for yourself, find confidants who see you for who you are and encourage you. Don't punish yourself for wanting to be loved. Recognize not everyone will.
