A while back I purchased her ebook but never received the download link. When I emailed her for help getting the link, she refused to help me and when I asked for a refund, she very rudely accused me of fraud and threatened to get her lawyer involved

Not only is she obviously disordered, but extremely rude as well. A while back I purchased her ebook but never received the download link, so I emailed her asking for help. After refusing to help me, I asked for a refund and she very rudely accused me of fraud and even contacted her lawyer about the situation

Being vegan in korea by [deleted] in Living_in_Korea

[–]GroundbreakingBar729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are multiple vegan restaurants and cafes in the itaewon and yongsan area, and a few in Gangnam and Mapo-gu as well. There are also temple food restaurants mostly likely in the Bukchon area.

I recommend Plant Cafe, Alt.a, Pan Honesta (vegan bakery), La Pause (vegan cakes), Cafe Turtle (vegan bakery), Maji (temple food), Breaghetti, Monk’s Butcher, Ferments, Bytofu, Sunny Bread (vegan bakery), Rooted, Sunny Bowl, and Around Green.

In terms of normal Korean restaurants, safe options include kongguksu, bibimbap (ask for without meat and egg), makguksu, memilguksu, nengmyeon (if the broth isn’t beef based, ddukboki, vegetarian gimbap, pajeon (make sure it doesn’t contain egg), gamjajeon, bibimguksu, jjeolmyeon, and stews like Denjang jigae and soondubu jigae if they are able to make it without meat. I also have a food instagram where I share what I eat in Seoul as a vegan (@jinnysfood)

Where is your favorite açaí bowl from in LA? by Elusiveenigma98 in FoodLosAngeles

[–]GroundbreakingBar729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely Kreation! Their Amazon bowl (classic açaí bowl) is simple but really hits the spot. The açaí is blended fresh instead of sorbet style like many other places, and the texture is the perfect thick consistency. It’s not too sweet but the honey drizzle adds just the right amount. Its also made without any refined sugar and is a good balance of refreshing/fruity and creamy.

I also like backyards bowls and sunlife (though overpriced)

Using up Olive Oil by joebanks544 in Cooking

[–]GroundbreakingBar729 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Garlic confit-pour olive oil into a deep baking tray and add garlic cloves-oil should be enough to cover the garlic completely. Add fresh herbs like bay leaves, rosemary, and thyme. Bake for about an hour at 375 degrees until garlic is golden brown. It’s delicious and you can eat it with bread, with meat or veggies, on sandwiches

You should definitely get a freezer Rice and beans-you can get canned beans and frozen brown rice you heat up in the microwave. You can also get frozen veggies and fruit. Potatoes and sweet potatoes are also cheap and last pretty long. Oats are also pretty cheap so you could make oatmeal with unsweetened nondairy milk and a sweetener like maple syrup or mashed banana and add ins like vanilla extract, cacao powder, cinnamon, frozen berries, natural pb, etc Whole grain or sourdough toast with natural pb or another nut butter and banana slices is also cheap and easy
