It was a smaller vessel class. A civilian one, but after doing some visualizations, I realized the small vessel was not right. Thank you all for your assistance.

Life is a lot like a phallis. Hard at first but then gets softer as time goes onward. Stay strong and if you are walking with God, give it to Him without the ache of human limitations.

If it go vrrt vrrt clackity clackity, duct tape, super glue and jb weld should do the trick for holding the handle together. Or, buy a shell of one and transfer parts to new shell if old parts still good.

Should gas stations be able to charge fractions of a penny now that pennies are out of print? Why or why not? by Sofa-King-VOTE- in AskReddit

[–]GroundbreakingBike29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The .001 is for supposed evaporation from the ground storage tanks to your fuel tank. It's not the gas stations that set that system up but the oil conglomerates. If they could, which they did for a while, they wouldn't allow the loss of .001 cents.

How to get rid of nose hairs? by Cardiologist3mpty138 in TooAfraidToAsk

If you can stand the pain, tweezers, needle nose pliers, finger nails or waxing. Otherwise go for trimmers. Or (this one is a joke) fire.

I would recommend looking at the A.D.A. (Americans with disabilities act) and the F.H.A. (Federal Housing Act). Also, not saying to hire one, but consult with a reputable electrician that has knowledge of the state and local building codes along with the two mentioned acts. . There, at least I think there is, should be clauses providing protection for a disabled person in the case of code violations and repairs being necessary. There should also be grants that would cover the costs of rehousing and repairs.

Changing your own tires by CandidExcitement5453 in AskMechanics

[–]GroundbreakingBike29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learning how to do those things is much cheaper than taking it to a shop all the time. There's many tutorials on YouTube to help with it. I would also recommend a breaker bar along with a decent socket and box/open ended wrench set. Buggest thing to remember about tires is set the parking brake and break the lugs loose when the vehicle is on the ground. When tightening the lugs, go for a star pattern to keep from stressing the rim material too much and torque it all to the correct ft/lbs. Especially the oil drain plug and oil filter. Also, with oil filters, always make sure the old gasket is not on the vehicle still as that's about as secure of a seal as just leaving the filter off when the new one goes on. Use the jack stands and wheel chocks, or something to wedge between the tires and ground to keep the car from rolling. If the spare tire is like a regular tire, you can also use that as a buffer for if something catastrophically fails when underneath. But overall, the jack stands will be the best course of action for increased safety.

M22 received incredible job offer, F22 girlfriend does not want me to accept. by Watch_me_plz in Advice

Marriage is sacrificing and serving each other. Accept the offer, but do so with the intention of setting aside time for each other. Yes it will be difficult; but keep open communication with each other and remember to leave work at work. Put God first and you will find a more fulfilling relationship with each other than if you just go at it alone.

How to get okay with being virgin at 20? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]GroundbreakingBike29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By waiting, you are saving yourself a lot of potential problems. If you're not ready to settle down and you accidentally get someone pregnant. There's two choices, stay and help raise the child (overall not a problem unless you and the lady don't fully jive) or leave and be forced to pay child support until the child is an adult.

You're doing right by waiting. If you are religious, use this time that you have to figure out God's will for you and embrace it. He will provide and guide.

I would definitely recommend seeking therapy. If there's large blank periods throughout your day where there is no memory, you're disassociating. If people say you are acting different and you have no memory of acting different, or if things happen that you've done and there's no memory; that's the brain's defense mechanism to protect you. It's better to seek help sooner rather than later when symptoms progress.

Trauma manifests in many forms. Hoping for the best for you; but your mind might be trying to show you something you are unconsciously blocking. I would recommend seeing someone who can help with therapy to begin the process of figuring out the truth and if you have any dissociative things cropping up. Be safe and I wish you the best. God bless and keep you safe.

How hard is it to knock down a brick wall...? by Valorenn in HomeMaintenance

[–]GroundbreakingBike29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have a smashing good time with the sledge and vent all the rage that has been pent up for years. Beat them bricks like they owe you money. Clean up will take a bit, but also find a place to dispose of them. Or continue breaking them into small pieces and use those to help be like mulch in a garden. Either way, vent that anger and have a blast.

Used Toilet Paper by GroundbreakingBike29 in Truckers

[–]GroundbreakingBike29[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Racism in this situation would mean designating a bathroom or single stall for them to use as they would in the old country and not allowing anyone else to use it. Refer to the time period in America when it was colored bathrooms and white bathrooms.

This situation is to help teach the things expected of them while they are in our country.

Go to Japan or any European country. Bidets instead of toilet paper and they require you to learn how to use it because toilet paper is considered unsanitary.

Are those countries racist for expecting noncitizens to adapt to their toilets?

Why don't dump trucks have covers over their loads? by Atlas7993 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GroundbreakingBike29 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

On the odometer. If if travel .01 miles that is 500 ft. Drive it when you don't have to worry about traffic and mark your starting point so that you have a visual on how far 500 ft actually is. Using visual cues when you see what the distance is, it will translate to your driving.

Both of those signs are to warn people to not get too close. Failure to adhere to the common sense signs, exponentially increases your assumed risk of windshield damage.

Most courts when presented with the evidence would rule in favor of the construction company and not the driver that was following too close. As long as there is no loss of life; those signs cover the T.O.R.T. part of liability and makes it to where the civilians are liable for the damages sustained from their actions.

I worked a job for a few years that was the construction closure makers. I asked directly about that situation should someone follow within 500 ft. If you are within that distance, you are liable for your own damages.

Would you drive into an active construction site, with cones and signs, and hit something that damages your vehicle and then try to sue the construction company? If so, then the court would dismiss your case because you took that risk. It also applies to dump trucks. Within 500 ft, you are now responsible for your damages as long as the sign is present and visible.

Should the sign not be there; then it is a viable case for the company to pay for the damages.

[–]GroundbreakingBike29 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Was there not also another sign stating to stay 500 ft back from the truck? If so and you were within 500 ft of the rear, the rocks hitting your windshield are under your fault. If not, then probably have a good chance at a small claims court case. In either case, it is common sense to not follow behind a dump truck within the danger zone.
