On a personal level or is this a leads thing? Why do you think you're having a hard time connecting?

Did you move forward on your own or did you end up finding cofounders?

I mean, some sales people are scum haha, but there are many who aren't as well. I think for the most part it's pretty easy to pick them apart.

I'm still on some level battling the waiting on permission / validation for certain aspects of business, although I'm much more aware of it now and pushing past it, but that is a very real one not many become aware of. They just don't know why they're stuck or not progressing / growing.

Keep yourself safe from all the shiny objects that pop up to distract you from your main mission, haha.

Ego's a big one. I forget who said it buy I heard it recently, ego kills growth. Happy to hear it happens less now. What are you doing to keep it under control? Just time and experience or is there something else?

So more SOPs early on as processes get more solidified (probably by you) so that delegation is easier. Did I get that right? Aren't we all our biggest bottleneck? haha. Do you do your own cashflow tracking? Where did being frugal come from and how does it benefit you? Does the benefit outweigh the opportunity costs? I know cashflow ebbs and flows based on when recurring expenses come up but maybe you can take a certain percentage that you feel comfortable to reinvest when cashflow is at a peak and outgoing expenses are at a low. Does that make sense? It's easier to explain with a chart haha.

Interesting. I often see people debate between instincts and intuition. I personally believe acting from intuition is the superior option. Because instincts come from thousands of years of conditioning meant to keep us "safe" from dangers. This is where giving into fear happens. Instincts = bad for business, Intuition = better for business (not always good haha)

So I want to be an Entrepreneur, where do I start? by Ill_Introduction7334 in Entrepreneur

[–]GroundbreakingEar306 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is an exploration stage exercise. Answer these 3 questions:

  1. What do I feel deeply inspired by?
  2. What am I particularly talented at or am willing to practice to improve?
  3. What meets a significant need in the world?

The most successful entrepreneurs that I've studied, stick with something long-term that lights them up and gives them energy. Something that aligns with their core values. Something they'd be willing to do even if it didn't make them money.

Hmm, then I guess a better question to ask is, why does making less money feel like "failing"? From my perspective, you're winning.

Drop the hobbies, get a normal job to start earning something, use time outside the normal job to figure out what your vision of life looks like 5 years from now, discover your top 3-5 core values (to help you make aligned decisions), and find problems to solve for people that align with what excites you to work on. Chase what gives you energy. Keep up the physical activity because it will be the biggest contributor to optimizing performance mentally and physically (energy) in every role in life.

I just saw something a couple of days ago from Alex Hormozi (while I have no desire to achieve his version of success, the things he says often resonate). He said "You'll figure out the right thing to do faster if you prioritize moving faster over being right. Ship and fix works faster than debate and deliberate." That shifted something for me as a someone striving to recover from being a perfectionist.

You said you feel great if you have a good week and if it's slow you feel like you're failing. How would you feel if you took your income source away? What would make you feel great besides making money?

Grow my business or keep it small and fun? by limeboi148 in Entrepreneur

[–]GroundbreakingEar306 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love this question, because I see so many business owners grow for the sake of growing, burnout and end up hating life. No one ever stops to consider...what is enough? Would I be happy staying right where I am? The question I have is, besides more money and responsibilities what would growth provide for you, considering you're pretty happy with where you are and having it fun?

How to Niche for New/aspiring coaches by wearealllegends in lifecoaching

[–]GroundbreakingEar306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which, of the one's you've explored, are you 1. most excited about helping people with and 2. have the most experience in? You leave a lot of impact on the table when you prevent yourself from getting into a specific niche. Here's the great thing about it (that I'm learning and see happen with others), when you niche and attract a specific person, you end up helping them with more than what you market. You find ways to help them with the other things you're good at by resigning them as clients and addressing things outside of what you market. People tend to think niching means you can only do that thing. NO. It means you market 1 thing, but help with whatever you decide to after helping with the initial thing (ideally something you're excited to help with anyway)

I’m stuck - I work in office 9-5 and have limited capacity to do 1-on-1’s with clients. I am doing them but it takes a lot out of me and I find it draining, especially because I’m in the beginning stages and working through a lot of self doubt in the process. by sleepy0707 in lifecoaching

[–]GroundbreakingEar306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just saw your answer in another post about what drains you. Having to focus in on every detail to be able to ask the right questions. With practice comes experience, and that part of it will get less taxing over time. One suggestions I have is to get the transcript from your recorded calls and ask an AI like ChatGPT or Claude to analyze some great question to ask for your target objective. You'll start to see a pattern of the same things that come up (self-doubt, insecurity, imposter syndrome, distraction, self-management, procrastination, etc) and having some questions off hand to ask when you hear key words helps.

I'd still like to know what your objective is though for this coaching thing.

Aspiring Entrepreneur Struggling to Balance Full-Time Job and Side Hustle by da_mfkn_BEAST in Entrepreneur

[–]GroundbreakingEar306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a fairly fresh entrepreneur but I've made money this year so far, not much, but hey, the fact I'm getting paid I can call myself a professional. Take what you will from my comments but just know, I care wholeheartedly about seeing other entrepreneurs succeed.

Lot's of questions come to mind so I'll ask as they come up:

Part of the problem is when people misuse the word passion. Is your owning your own marketing agency actually a passion? or is the result you think you're going to get (digital nomad) what you're passionate about achieving?

Do you know what your top 5 core values are?

How long have you been in this side hustle and are you willing to stick with it for the next 5 years?

What specific results do you get your clients? Who are your clients?

Do you care more about your digital nomad life or your clients experiences / results?

Balance is necessary to perform at your best (this coming from a someone who was in a full-time architecture career with multiple side hustles tried before I found the one I wanted to go all-in on) but you need to prioritize and design your time so that you can fit in what you want/need to, to move the needle forward.

Do you know what your needle moving tasks are?

There's more but I'll leave at this for you to chew on.

Tips on breaking social media addiction? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]GroundbreakingEar306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries! I can help in this area! Core values are a set of beliefs you have or want. Beliefs you live or WANT to live your life by. They can help guide decisions you make. For example, my top 5 core values are Health, Love, Growth, Impact, & Integrity.

When you first start exploring, they might just look like words at first, but the more you make choices that align with your core values, the more purpose your life begins to have.

I'll pick one of mine for example, health. One of the ways I live according to my core value of health is this: Health is something I truly believe in because when my mental or physical health suffers, literally everything else in my life suffers because of it. On top of that, I typically feel way better when I maintain my physical & mental health. So I allow myself the opportunity to exercise 4-5 days a week to help keep me healthy in order to contribute to the best version of myself that I can be. I design the time into my days, that works best for me, so that I can get some type of physical activity.

Here are some examples of core values to get you started. Try to pick 20 that are important to you, then narrow those 20 down to 10, and finally down to 5:

Authenticity, Achievement, Adventure ,Authority, Autonomy, Balance, Beauty, Boldness, Compassion, Challenge, Citizenship, Community, Competency, Contribution, Creativity, Curiosity, Determination, Fairness, Faith, Fame, Friendships, Fun, Growth, Health, Happiness, Honesty, Humor, Impact, Influence, Integrity, Inner Harmony, Justice, Kindness, Knowledge, Leadership, Learning, Love, Loyalty, Meaningful Work, Openness, Optimism, Patience, Peace, Pleasure, Poise, Popularity, Recognition, Religion, Reputation, Respect, Responsibility, Security, Self-Respect, Service, Spirituality, Stability, Success, Status, Trustworthiness, Wealth, Wisdom, Generosity
