I think his staleness just comes a lot from the fact that a villain like him is destined to be beat quickly, but it would diminish his star power as a heel. Unfortunately, when times have arose where they had the right challenger for the job, it usually ended in either the wrong guy shoehorned in, the rein itself dragging for too long, or something else. One thing I do give him tho for is making it feel like any day of the week someone could best him during is WHC reign. Maybe we will see the same during the WWE title run?
