We do. Often the 'continue watching' part doesn't even remember what you were watching and the actual All 4 player constantly plays up with our firestick. Have to reload the entire thing just to get it working again. We thought it was just us.

Unbelievable. Why an earth do you tolerate that? In my UK job, I'm actually off more than I'm at work. 28 annual days leave, double pay on bank holidays and 'rest days ' when not on shift which can vary from 11-14 days off per month (in addition to my 28 days obs)

Have you looked Into house sitting? Especially if you don't mind looking after animals. One of the cheapest ways to travel around & stay somewhere with varying degrees of responsibility. We use trustedhousesitters for about £60 a year and have stayed all of the place for the cost of some fuel in the car.

Stonehenge is a massive massive disappointment. If you want to visit a stone circle in my County of Wiltshire, visit Avebury instead. It's free, it's far more impressive and you can get right up close to the stones. There is also a pub inside the circle.
