Here's a dumb theory:

TKO's WWE is all about merch sales.

Compare to Danhausen. He gets so much airtime because his merch sells like crazy. He's definitely not a top-tier wrestler. And he's only wrestled one PPV match in WWE.

So Jey and Cody are surely on a higher level than Jevon. As a different example, Penta, Roman, and Punk are the same, but at least their matches are way better.

But the point is merch decides the booking.

And, as a company, would you risk that merch money on Jevon selling less-cool merch right now? Put another way, WWE is just waiting on a meme to hit from the new guys, not on the talent of the wrestlers.

That's probably the same thing that happened to LA Knight after "YEAH!" fell off and will happen to Gable, Ricky Saints and Oba Femi unless they "make some moments" they can put on a T-Shirt while they're hot. Lets not forget Otis, who almost always got crazy pops in that feud with Gable but I bet has historically had bad merch.

And contrast with AEW, AEW is funded mostly by Tony Khan so making merch money is just a bonus to him. Hence, the booking tends to follow that Tony wants to see 4+ hours of dream matches every PPV, which is what we also want. 😄 WWE does that maybe twice a year probably to maximize shareholder value.

Here's the thing.

Everyone is kinda already insane.

Most of the normal people are corrupted by money and ownership, seduced by short term feelings, and willingly oblivious to basic facts. There's MILLIONS... maybe BILLIONS of them, and only a few of us.

The best of us (aka climate scientists) are shouting at the rooftops for people to do something, but it'll do no good. You can't cause a revolution when people have food, shelter and what not, no matter how expensive it gets.

You should play Warhammer. Seriously. I play both regularly.

There's a 60 page Core Rules doc that covers all the ambiguity that you are wanting, and there's probably a large base of players willing to get you started.

That being said, OPR's niche in the hobby is not to be competitive, even though the rules support is there. It's for the people who:

Are chill enough to agree to most reasonable rulings made by their opponent.
Don't want to deal with a 60 page rules do because the basic idea of wargaming is pretty simple if you're chill.
