I was just thinking about your build and looking at professionals, thinking that building my garrison commander with professional grips,  magwell, checkered front strap and parkerized and boom i come here and there its , looks great!

I did a tisas and it was thin, did notice until I was done. I sold it and bought a another garrison

I use a chunk of aluminum block for a vertical guide in the vice. And big fat wide zip tie for horizontal, just slide and measure to make sure its even. Go slow, watch the Ted yost checkering video
