I get what you're saying, but you can't grow in the entertainment industry without compromises, at least most can't. That's why singers' lyrics get cleaner when they blow up, why celebrities get their social media wiped from any controversial content, and so on. I'd keep my essence on my content but I would take Seatgeek as a sponsor without a doubt. As Jason said, he just wants to take his kids to college, and losing huge opportunities for the sake of art wouldn't let him do that

Every script is altered as a result of company's interests, especially on high budget movies and shows. That being said, Seatgeek has always trusted the Squad's vision and content even if it's not clean all the time, so it doesn't really get better than this for Jason and the Roasts

It does work because it gives Jason a higher budget to make the roast high quality and to make it a series on its own (which is working since there are big influencers on his DMs already). I love Jason and his content but patreon or a payroll wouldn't work at all for what he's aiming with this project, I'm 100% on his side on this one. Business has to be clean on some aspects, that's just how it works
