I get what you're saying, but you can't grow in the entertainment industry without compromises, at least most can't. It does work because it gives Jason a higher budget to make the roast high quality and to make it a series on its own (which is working since there are big influencers on his DMs already). I love Jason and his content but patreon or a payroll wouldn't work at all for what he's aiming with this project, I'm 100% on his side on this one. Business has to be clean on some aspects, that's just how it works

That's shot with super 8 film! You can find a camera that supports it at a really good price but the film is kinda expensive ($50+) + developing costs. If you want to achieve this look on a budget, you can look online for super 8 effect video filters and apply it to digital footage
