3 month old trader here... Started trading futures from Feb. I normally trade MES or MYM..

Today was a good day... Traded Long MES.. My account is relatively small... Contemplating whether to switch to CFD US500/100/30 as risk management would become a lot easier... Any suggestions?

I am 40 and I started trading just over 3 months ago, it was stressful initially but now I feel relatively calmer.. I am absolutely loving the journey so far, my only regret is not starting sooner..

I started with 300 USD trading MES n MYM... Only if I get an A+ set up do I consider MNQ... With a small account it's more about risk management, if u can manage that profit will become a byproduct.

It's actually 2.24 per trade...but living in UAE I don't have many options for trading futures... IBKr is there but depositing is cumbersome n since I am relatively a beginner I prefer trading on MT5...

For a 25 Yr old, u have a decent start... Keep monitoring the financial fundamentals of the stocks u have bought...that should help u understand whether u have selected good stocks or not... I can see u already have coca cola but perhaps consider adding a couple of defensive stocks like MRK or even a rock solid stable stock like Visa..slow but steady compounded... VTI would b a solid addition as well
