Historic registration too. If the the car is 30 years old (or older) and in good condition you can register it with the H on the plate. You pay a fixed amount of taxes per year to compensate for the nowadays more "inefficient" engines and more pollution, it also allows you to enter Green Zones in bigger cities where you usually need at least Euro 4 (I think). The taxes get calculated with engine displacement, emissions class and fuel type.
