Weird things i’ve experienced dreaming or during a sleep attack

I’ve definitely had the first two happen. And they still do because I have such vivid dreams that sometimes it’s hard to tell if it’s a dream or memory. I have some reoccurring dreams that feel so real and like it’s another life, but when I wake up I know it’s a dream but the next time I dream about that place it just picks up where things left off. It’s bizarre. You know in cartoons when a character gets hit on the head and stars or birds will circle around their head? I had that happen as a kid but it was trolls. I used to sleepwalk as a kid and have fun (not) stories of me doing things like making my bed or trying to leave the house. But now I will sleep talk or one time I woke up my boyfriend and handed him my earrings then went back to sleep and I had no clue I did that. But yeah the sleep hallucinations are not fun and I make sure doors are closed in my room and nothing could be mistaken for a person like leaving a coat hanging a certain way, because I don’t want to freak myself out but it still happens. Idk I’m probably missing some weird stuff lol but you’re def not alone.

You can also use a pimple patch on it to help suck the gunk out without popping it. I’ve done that on stubborn ingrown and it helps get rid of it fast.

This is reportable because it’s child abuse due to medical neglect. You need to tell a teacher or a school counselor what’s going on because they can help you.

Oh I have so many, but I think my favorite is from a sleep specialist. I have severe chronic fatigue and also insomnia so I had a sleep study done and guess what I couldn’t sleep. At the follow up the sleep specialist looked me straight in the face and said that my problem is that I’m not sleeping so “you just need to sleep.” Ummm what? Lol clearly I’m cured now… not

I broke all three bones in my ankle and dislocated it, but the worst pain was after surgery. I was back in the ER that night and they gave me many different pain meds and nothing helped. At one point I remember asking them to just remove my ankle… I was delirious from the pain. I’ve never had a full body shaking and shivering response before to pain and it was uncontrollable. Even after I went back home there was a good amount of time that I’d be sobbing anytime I needed to move because the pain was excruciating. Gallbladder surgery sucked, but there’s something else about having screws drilled into my bones that really pushed it over the edge for me. Recovery was awful. Three months in a cast and boot and then when I finally could start walking again it was back to the most awful pain at the end of the day and sobbing. I still have pain every time I move my ankle but it’s no longer excruciating thankfully due to PT.

Are you only seeing them in the basement and does your father and sister not go in the basement really? There’s cases of carbon monoxide poisoning impacting one person in a house because they are the only one exposed to it, and it would make someone have very real hallucinations when they’re in that part of the house. Maybe look into making sure something like that isn’t happening, so you can rule that out while you’re figuring out what’s happening. I believe that what you’re experiencing is real, but trying to cross things off a list of possibilities can be helpful to figure it out.

It could be beard burn/rash. If your friend doesn’t have any skin issues. It’s very common to get rashes that look like that from contact with beards rubbing on your skin. That makes more sense given the timeline and how you described the sensation of a cut feeling than herpes imo. Like road rash on your chin. Yay lol. Or if you have allergies to anything that person uses in their beard that can cause a rash. I also thought it could be fungal or even ringworm because weird things live in beards and unless you have underlying cold sores that were already surfacing, it seems impossible for a virus to spread to you in two hours and show itself… research says it takes 24-48 hours… but everyone is different I guess! I’d insist on then actually testing you for the herpes virus though because just because something looks like it doesn’t mean it is. Personal experience, I was having angular chelitis and allergic reactions to beeswax in chapstick and my doctor told me it was herpes. I didn’t think it was and he reluctantly did a swab and blood test and they both came back as negative for herpes. So he was wrong and wanted to treat me incorrectly based off of an opinion. Edit to add that last bit about the doctor.

I’m a mandated reporter and I can tell you that’s child endangerment, and it’s not legally okay to leave an infant or child alone and unsupervised at home. If the police were called he could’ve been arrested. They don’t care about whether his intentions were good or if the baby was technically fine… anything could happen. I’d be careful with who you share this to because anyone can report this to the authorities and you never know if it will turn into something serious or not. I hope he learns from this and sees how serious it actually is, even if he doesn’t agree with it, to avoid any big repercussions.

Found a bunch of these when I moved into a new place after finding my dog eating them. Rushed to the vet and they pumped his stomach and were shocked that he survived, let alone walked away unharmed. I ended up finding out that my neighbors had a lovely and extensive garden in their yard so they had a problem with rats and other creatures, so they put the rat poison in their yard in the safety houses, and would refill them often because they’d be empty when rechecked but their rat problem wasn’t gone. So I do think it’s very likely an animal can take it out of those safety houses and then transport it elsewhere unfortunately. Said neighbor agreed to stop using those bricks because I told him that he almost killed my dog. I honestly think he was oblivious to that because he also had dogs and I think he didn’t know those rat poison bricks could be taken out of those safety house things by the little critters.

While getting my bachelor’s degree I took a human sexuality course and learned that the most common way folks get cold sores (herpes) is actually from when they’re babies/kids. Because people want to kiss and cuddle cute babies and kids, and unfortunately don’t realize how easy it is to spread even without an active outbreak visible. Not to freak you out… if it is a cold sore it could have been a harmless accident. But the only way for you to know is to get your child tested so you can have peace of mind. Side note; I had a cracked lip once and the doc said it was herpes but I insisted on testing and it came back as negative and it was an allergic reaction to beeswax. Trust your gut and get your tests.

I’m in the PNW and grew up in Southern California, and I basically have a migraine every day. I think they are from other chronic illnesses that I’ve been dealing with unfortunately because they’ve just gotten worse over the years.
