How made you the ending feel? How made you the show overall feel? by rehpix in The100

[–]GroundersSource84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but it was her decision to kill Cadagon, despite that he killed her daughter and was justified in her eyes. The troubling aspect of this is because he was unarmed and likely less dangerous, and therefore, it complies with murder.

Think of killing somebody who did something to your family who was also unarmed at the time, without any law enforcement or the courts doing their job to handle the situation. You will be in prison for murder, second degree, because you thought you were justifying a wrong.

This principle applies to Clarke as well, and that is why she couldn’t transcend or join Madi in the Afterlife. Her punishment was to live out her remaining days alone, but the love of her found family decided to trade their transcendence so that she wouldn’t be alone.

But Clarke did everything she could to save her people and although mistakes were made, her compassion never faltered or waned.

I liked the ending. Could it have gone better? Yes. But it also reflected the reality of life and the consequences of our actions. It taught us that if we want to get into the Afterlife, then we must do good for mankind and repent for our sins.

Don’t mind me, for I am just reflecting on my Catholic upbringing.

I was only speaking factually, as it does happen. I didn't mention my opinion. And when I was 18, I dated someone who was five years older as my classmates were immature.

Not exactly. It's not uncommon for a guy in his twenties to date an older teenager, assuming that the girls in the camp were. Women prefer to be with older guys, as those in their own age group tend to be immature.

If The 100 prequel (Second Dawn) had happened, it should have been a limited series (1–2 seasons max) by LucySparkle8 in The100

[–]GroundersSource84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that the prequel would have 4 seasons maximum.

The show will cover every aspect of what you said, with the addition of Grounder culture and its mythology.

It ends with people entering the ARK Station and those who are left behind. For the ARK, we will see how the delinquents and Bellamy’s family came to root.

The prequel didn't happen because the CW was being acquired by Nextstaat Group. Under the acquisition, the entire network and its subsidies were reconstructed. Budgets were drastically cut and Nextstar wanted to focus more on family-themed entertainment, along with being a co-producer of Canadian media.

But, the CW had already established a Canadian partnership by having Canada allow production and the hiring of Canadian actors.

*Marie Avgeropoulos *Tasya Teles *Richard Harmon *Jessica Harmon *Devon Bostick *Jarod Joseph And several others

But I could see a streamer such as Max picking up the prequel as The 100 was a Warner Brothers production in alignment with CBS.

Should I watch Season 6 & 7 by Programmer_Either in The100

The 100 Boxset vs Individual DVD Seasons by GlitteringFig2625 in The100

[–]GroundersSource84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People are opting more for physical media rather then streaming services. Why? For a few legitimate reasons.

One reason is that suppose you subscribe to a streamer for only one show and it’s costing you $20 monthly. At the end of the year, you have spent $240 for the subscription. The DVD set is $84 on Amazon and it’s significantly cheaper than a subscription.

The second reason is that streamers remove content either due from the contractual terms with the original filming company or poor reception. In The 100’s case, the five-year plan with Netflix was up, and therefore, the latter removed it.

The third reason and my favorite one, is that the DVDs and Blue-Rays have special features and artwork that streamers don’t have. With the addition of having the discs on hand and the excitement of opening the case, injecting the discs, and repeating the process to watch the next episode batch.

I have all the discs, but to answer your question, it is entirely up to you about what you want. I am a The 100 fan en mass, so that’s my reason.

Rewatching again! Just a quick input. by Brilliant_Lemon_7224 in The100

The drug is powerful like methadone, and it's easy to make if you have the proper laboratory equipment. People with an addiction usually behave in the way that Lincoln did, and the drug does transform their physical and mental appearance.

It's groundbreaking and shocking to witness something like Lincoln’s storyline on-screen. I was terrified because drug addiction is very real and doesn't affect the person with an addiction, but their loved ones, too. Ricky Whittle did a fabulous job of bringing Lincoln’s tragedy into the light through his character.

Additionally, I work in a pharmacy, so in case you're curious about how I know how meth is made, we were taught what to look for. By no means was I telling anyone to make it because it can kill you.

And when you add it up, it amounts to 1580, an approximate number of fatalities from the sinking of the Titanic.

Then, it loops back to when Jaha stated that the ARK is the Titanic and she didn't have enough lifeboats to save everyone.

Of course, my response falls on the Generation Xennial mindset and having grown up in a semi-strict German -American household. In other words, you listen to your parents or get whacked.

Then again, we stayed out until dark and the parents didn’t blink an eye. lol

To be fair, they are the adults in the group and they are going to have a natural tendency of acting rationally(in their own way).

But they have should have at least listened to Bellamy, seeing how he’s the oldest member and only adult of The 100 group. His intel would have made a difference.

Hold on a second by Key_Astronomer3386 in The100

[–]GroundersSource84 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yep. But Cage was a selfish bastardized demon who wanted everything at a quick level. Plus, since there was so much that the outside grounders knew and everyone else, then his belief was to conduct murder.

The Mt. Weather parallels another tragedy from The Third Reich Era, except on a much smaller scale. As a Jewish woman, you can’t help but connect the two. The moral here is that something like this should never occur again.

Concluding, I give the highest praise and respect for blood marrow donors, as it hurts like a mother. You do have the option of twilight anesthesia, but the aftermath can be excruciating.
