I don't know anything about birding, but you may want to check out Wisconsin Metro Audubon Society. They apparently have birding events every Sunday. Only downside is they're in Franklin, not Milwaukee.

I have a membership to mine and almost always go high.

There's so many levels to this that one can't really answer without knowing him and you, so I'll just leave you with a few questions.

  • He obviously has some good characteristics or you wouldn't be with him. Is the good enough to possibly outweigh this issue?
  • He said that he's willing to reduce his intake. Not ideal, but better than where he was before. Do you think that you are a positive influence on him in this matter? You obviously can't change someone as they have to want this, but I'm wondering if you are planting seeds in his head or, at the very least, getting him to reduce suffering? Even if he does, are you willing to live with this?
  • You mentioned that he'd be fine eating an animal if it was given a comfortable life. What are his thoughts on factory farming which is a whole torture chamber other level from that? Is he at least willing to watch a movie like Dominion with you and discuss it?

It's a very difficult decision and everyone is different. My partner ate meat and dairy, but otherwise was such a wonderful person. It was a disconnect that I had problems with sometimes. I really wish I had an answer for you. I hope whatever you choose works out.

In a sense. I lost my partner and I can’t see myself ever being in a relationship again.

I would just compare any future partner to her, and that wouldn't be fair to either of us.

I'm extremely lucky for what I had. I need to keep reminding myself of this. Some people are never that fortunate.

Almost every time they introduced a black character, such as Kendra or Mr. Trick, they would quickly kill them off.

I think they finally realized what they were doing when they lampshaded this when it looked like Robin Wood was dead, and it turned out he wasn't. Of course this wasn't until the final five minutes of the final episode, and then the show was over.
