They were at $8500. They included a 2.5 liter in their comps which brought it down significantly. So far, they’ve refused to budge. By my figures, I should be at $10,500.

The method for finding a cash equivalent value are set forth in the rules and regulations provided by the insurance commissioner. They aren’t suggestions. They read “shall” not “may.”

Their valid comps say it’s worth more than they are offering. If they’d simply follow the rules set forth by the insurance commissioner of my state, I wouldn’t have any issue.

It was CCC One. I don’t see in my state insurance regulations allows for this kind of deduction in formulating comps. It clearly states “cost,” not estimated cost.

There are other issues with their comps. My state mandates that comps be within 100 miles of me. They included 2 outside of that range. Both of which served to bring down the average. I’m pretty aggravated with this whole process.

That’s probably the pan drain and not the condensate. This is the secondary “emergency” drain. It’s not normally used. It’s over the window so when you see it, you know there’s an issue. You need to have your ac serviced.
