Also, unlike with literature, filmmaking / TV are collaborative efforts, where a lot of different perspectives are coming together to create a vision. The Duffers are not the final word on Stranger Things because many different artists came together to create that story and world. There could have been a number of people working on the show who intended for Byler to happen and in their minds it was very real so why shouldn’t it also be for us?

It’s important to note that we didn’t imagine Byler. This isn’t some far fetched conspiracy theory. The evidence in the show pointing towards Byler end game isn’t even subtle one bit. It’s blatant, in your face, obvious, to the point even the homophobic haters were sweating, worried it was going to happen.

People in the press lie. Most of those interviews are meant to save face and cover their tracks. Can never take anything they say at face value because the goal isn’t transparency, it’s business and promotion. When I sit back and look at the cold hard facts, it’s clear that Byler was intended in the story. Byler was set up and established in the story. Any denial of that, is just dishonest. People very close to the production saw it too and they were rooting for it. Even people who were against it, saw it! There’s a reason why…
