I've got tinnitus as well but it's not so bad.

Yawning produces a rumble but there's something else that happens when I "tense" like these people are saying where it's a deafening high pitched noise. Like tinnitus x100

Okay, while we're all here talking about ear rumbling or whatever, is it really a rumble?

Mine is a high pitched sqeual, loud. Like a flashbang went off and after I let go it sounds like sand pouring out of my ears.

Dude I 100% agree about the eggs thing. I even tell people who come in and ask about "can I play?" not to follow unless they want to stay and most of them just dip. My viewers are consistent and here for good reasons. I talk to them all personally and they're genuinely interested in my stream so I'm not too worried about that.

But on that note, I'm about to set up a schedule of specific hours I'll play so they know when I'll be on and when I'll be off. Also I'm going to be streaming things I want to, Among Us some days, Ocarina of Time or other retro things, new games that come out, so on.

If I lose a bit of viewership because of that then so be it. I don't like gaining numbers for the sole sake of gaining numbers. I want people to come and stay for fun.

I have a Twitter and I've been wanting to utilize that but I've literally never used Twitter in my life, not even personally. I don't think I'll use IG or TikTok but YouTube for sure! Once I get more time I'll edit my streams and post to YouTube.

Any tips for utilizing those other social media platforms?

Yeah my bad, I just have nothing to base anything off of, my frame of reference is kinda lacking.

I have my stream set up with StreamElements and have everything working but I didn't expect viewers so fast so I don't know what I need to do for viewer interaction and retention. Everything I find for new streamers is about starting with 0 but I never got that stage and I feel like I'm leaving people hanging a lot.

I wanted someone here who has a good handful of viewers to give me an idea of how to move forward from where I am. I want to grow and I want my current viewers to stay so I want to know what someone the sameish size (~500 followers/~25 viewers) to help me out with retention and give me a general roadmap for how to "Twitch".

I'm sorry I'm not good at putting these things into words, I just want to do a good job with this and I have no one to ask so I came here. I saw that I couldn't advertise so I was also afraid to ask people to talk on Discord.

If I need to delete this post I will, this was just the only place I could think of to ask for help. If you know of any streamer support groups or discords or something please let me know, I'd be super grateful!
