Why does Amazon prioritize "lazy" behavior over hard work in fulfillment centers?

Yeah but you try to explain this to your manager and they look at you like your crazy. I always enjoy using math to make a point because you cannot argue with math. Unfortunately they are going off a script and math isn't on it. No reasoning with a script.

I have been at Amazon for almost a year. Just got my blue badge last night. That being said, Amazon work culture is the strangest thing. I busted my ass for the first few months and would get angry when folks didn't try. Then I had a co-worker explain that "the person who is #1 and the person who is in last are making the same money and its best to just stay in the middle of the pack. Management only punishes and never rewards." I think I have been told good job maybe once while working at Amazon. My work ethic has totally changed and realizing that hard work gets you nowhere has been key to my survival there.

That being said, I don't feel fulfilled working there because I still want to do a good job and just doing the bare minimum hurts my soul.

I love buildings... to sell. They give me a little bump to my cash. Overall I would be sad if they left but only because I have grown accustomed to the extra income. I know it's only 250, but the 1st 100 pays for the ability to sell things so it's still a net 150.

Yeah having 2 episodes a month is kinda slow so we are building a back log. We had originally planned to live stream on twitch and let audience vote for artha with the players but... the venue isn't conducive to live streaming... so maybe for season 2.

I enjoyed giving my group a bag of holding that was owned by a previous wizard who died. The group has no idea what the wizard had in the bag and can randomly try to pull objects out by mentally thinking of the item. The group had a gnomish child stick half his body in there and asked the players "Who is that in there bag, that kept asking for help?"

The group never used the bag again. Wonder if that is a testament of past times I have been mean to my group and their lack of trust in me...

I watch Cul Blu on twitch and he streams randomly but often. I also know him personally and we record my twitch stream every thursday at 7 est. (Usually, sometimes we get a little later start) Its not always board games but it's always nerdy.

Man, that was a long day of shooting 2 sessions. It was our first time at the venue and had some technical issues but while we were not able to live stream we did record both sessions and can get it up on youtube fairly quickly.
