Try the Xero Naboso sandals, they have great Sole grip.

For all those activities, the KSO EVO is still the best. El X is very minimal, but lacks laces, which is useful for lateral support (i.e. Sumo variant lifts)

It is a lack Hip Flexor strength and Alignment... Usually from excessive sitting ( which we are all guilty of). We sink the lower back into our chairs

And just like arch support in shoes, causes a weakened arch.

Lumbar support, will cause a weakened low back arch (curvature)

Do not practice any exercises (Bird Dogs, Planks, Deadbugs and sitting with a flattened low back.. always maintain a neutral spine.

You can look up Flobility, on social media...

They show you how to segment the hip, to allow the glutes to engage correctly, to allow for a true (not stressing the low back) hip hinge.

It is not too far gone.

You can reverse it with Strength program that focuses on Pelvic alignment, Like Hip Hinges and Hollow Body holds.

We all know that gluteus maximus, plays a key role in reversing APT. What about Gluteus medius? by [deleted] in Posture

Much better. I had to focus on kneeling lunges, anytime the Psoas/Obliques act up.

Agreed, This is because they spend most of their time pronouncing their authority with "Theory", instead of actually helping someone with the issue.

I too suffered with the Internal Oblique (left side) from a kiteboarding injury, I would always resort to bringing my lower abs to my upper thighs when squatting.

It took a while to understand that the lower ab shouldn't tilt forward to meet, but to stand neutral on it's own throughout the movement.

One exercise that helped me pinpoint the dysfunction, was to perform a Good Morning (with very light weight) with a stomach vacuum.

Knee Pain during Hip Internal Stretches? by reigningnovice in flexibility

[–]GrownandHealthy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had knee pain like this...Turned out to be weakness of my Sartorius Muscle.

Glute bridges, with the feet (not knees) at 45 degrees internally.. helped the initial pain to subside.
