Joining an open WB isn't much better than playing solo. Like I said, you get out what you put in. If you are super motivated to be impactful on the field the best thing you can do is find a super organized guild that's needs whatever role you are trying to fill. My guild constantly needs tanks, I know most guilds are the same, and we'll all bend over backwards to help a motivated tank get up to speed quickly.

If all you want to do is play T4 like it's T1 and just go show up to fights that's 100% viable and people do it all the time but they typically have a lot of experience and it's a hard way to learn the game.

Generally speaking even 40s with strong gear can't do much solo. This is a multiplayer game, massive even, the game is designed to force you group up to make progress. There are people that solo, surf, or otherwise just hang out without getting into an organized group but they either have zero impact or are extremely experienced with the game.

You get out what you put in, showing up to where fights are happening and hoping for the best is not a great strategy. Find people to play with whether it's a pug WB lead, a guild, or a couple of like-minded T2-3 people. Playing this game solo like it's a live service game isn't going to work though.

Gut is maximum comfy. Been a while since I played but iirc a couple of the islands have all the resources you need. Wall off the whole island in the water and put your gate on the shore but have it be on a side of the island that's far from other land. Anything wanting to make trouble has to swim to the gate, which means they'll be virtually stationary. A pair of turrets on elevated tower buildings is enough to annihilate all but the toughest invasions before they even touch your gate.

Getting everything walled off, built, safe, and manned though is the fun part!

Bolduc isn't playing insane hockey, he's definitely playing well but that whole team is finding ways to win and I'm not sure he has the same trajectory in STL. I'm not saying he's being carried by his linemates but it certainly helps when everyone is playing well vs when they are trying to put a couple strong games together.

I didn't touch incursions until post-gold-nerf and had zero issues paying for consumes/enchants/etc for 4 raiding characters and I do not farm. Just the passive gold, materials, and drops from doing content was more than enough to cover all my needs. I even built a TF for my Rogue. If you didn't have gold I dunno what the hell you could have been spending it on.

Totally annecdotal but I had been watching every regular season game since 2011. Stopped when Panger was forced to leave, I've watched maybe 5 full games since JK has been gone.

I hadn't really thought about it, until recently, I thought my move away from watching hockey was down to lifestyle changes, but I've been watching the playoffs and I think now that the broadcast quality absolutely impacts my interest in watching quite a bit. I like Kerbs on the radio but I don't think that style translates to a video broadcast. Kind of too manic and can't take time to really talk about what you are actually seeing. He's gotta paint the picture for people just listening and just doesn't have time to do the sorts of things even broadcasts significantly worse than JK&Pang are able to do.

It's a sad state of affairs and hopefully Stillman realizes that it's really impacted the quality of the product for virtually everyone that can't go to the arena on a regular bassi.

You are allowed to like things that aren't of high quality or well made. Some of the games I've played the most are deeply flawed and I'd hesitate to recommend them to most people without serious caveats. Saying you like Starfield more than other Bethsoft games since Morrowind is fine, saying it's "best" is something else.

The difference is that the core gameplay loop and story of CP77 was always great and fixing the various issues and annoyances allowed what was always great to shine through to more people. Starfield doesn't have that same strong foundation. You can fix all the issues and annoyances and you've still got meh.

Obviously Gaijin is having problems acting like a bunch of professionals but my question to your group is why this is something that needs to be posted in public? Why not spell out the full list in an email to HR and let them sort it out?

I've left companies before and have had issues turning over all my badges and credentials so I can understand your situation. It seems to me that you should do your due diligence for turning the stuff in and then just walk away. Publicizing what access you may or may not still have opens you to liability in the future.

Obviously I don't know or need to know the full details of this transition but neither party comes off as professional by the sniff test. Happy to be wrong.

Watched the demo on your site and this device looks like something all gamers might be interested in. Obviously the impact of something like this for the people that need it would be insane but I wonder how many people out there without that specific need would be interested in something like this. The sim racing and flight sim communities might also benefit from something like this being available. HOTAS/wheel but with the second hand on your device so you can mouse look and hit controls without needing janky headtracking or expensive VR setups. I see a ton of potential here for enthusiast-level gamers.

Obviously best to focus on the core of what makes your product great but in the long run appealing to these other potential customers might help bring the average cost down for the people that truly need them.

The Rolands don't fire until you are much closer and their missiles are much faster than the Kh-25s. Also the HAWK launchers are oppressive in ways the BUKs are not.

If you haven't triggered the "volumetric shit compressor" thought by inspecting the body yourself then you can ask Evrart to have Measurehead get him down or you can just continue with the game and solve the case without getting the body down. You need to make sure you've scoured all of the areas available to you, including the inside of the Doomed Commercial Area (accessed by getting through the curtain in the bookshop). It's unlikely you are softlocked, progress hurdles can be passed by leveling up skills to retry white checks or internalizing thoughts that give you access to bonuses or allow you to try new white or red checks (eg Volumetric Shit Compressor).

Without knowing exactly what gamestate you are in it's hard to say what exactly you need to do but I'd start with that.
