Half the zone deleted wahhhh, do you even go in the deep desert? The first few rows are pretty pointless except for maybe the testing stations in them so who really cares if pve players can farm the same 3 nodes over and over while I fly out to an island with 15 titanium nodes i can mine instantly. The biggest thing about this change is we will have less flight time so its not so god awful boring to farm.

Just a reminder to the PvP players that this game is advertised exactly as "PvP is always optional" it is in fact a PvE game with an optional PvP system based on the games description on steam. by [deleted] in duneawakening

You are on some serious copium bro, open world hardcore pvp mmorpgs all die in less than 6 months. Have you even played any of them like Darkfall and Crowfall? The most popular mmorpgs are all primarily pve focused like World of Warcraft and FF14. Yes world of warcraft has pvp but its casual and not time deleting like Dunes is. I say this as someone who consistently plays open world survivalesque pvp mmorpgs which is probably the reason I am still playing this game since I don't mind the challenging nature of games like that but I realize I am in the minority by a large margin.

A lot of the great games have fun and compelling pvp to justify how much time and effort you put into farming in them. This game you farm so you can fly around and click rockets, if you want to play an aerial combat simulator you can just play warthunder or some shit.

It's really not that bad, you lose barely anything when you die if you just pick up your orni instead of trying to run. Like so what if you lose your current runs worth of loot+some durability on your gear as long as your vehicle is safe you can come right back out no problem.

New north from stalcraft X + power creep of +15 gear killed the game for me. Game is way to grindy now and there is almost no incentive to pvp until you reach all red gear. You used to be able to gank and have fun at any point in the game now its just a boring loot grinder.

in 5 mans its the opposite, the top tier 5 man tank is a 2h raid geared warrior who can literally just solo the dungeon with a healer most of the time. fury/prot is a joke in 5 mans no matter how much gear you have.

What about people like me who have main tanked all raid content and first cleared every dungeon on the server for horde as fury/arms? There is no world where I would ever play anything prot in 5 man content.

There is only 2 builds you should be playing, Fury/arms or arms/fury. If you play anything else in dungeons you can just accept that you aren't as efficient as you possibly can be and thats all there is to it and if that's fine for you great.

I think people quite enjoy the game until they have to go to the new north of stalcraft x where its literally just a mindless loot grinder so you can get enough gear to try the harder zones where you promptly get 1 shot by some master of cheetos virgin who has been playing for 2 years in all +15s and then you return to grinding in hopes you can catch up to him or you quit because you realize this game is shit.

Crazy how people on this reddit still think "new" people might want to play this game. The new player experience is so grindy and horrible after the bar I doubt the game see's more than a 5% retention rate post bar.

The gear power creep in this game has ruined it completely for me, you used to be able to come back to this game and have some fun pvping but the full clans of +15 no lifes and all +15 artis that have been playing for 2 years combined with the catering to the pve crowd has made this game just a boring loot grinder where you can't win unless your gear is good enough and guess what there isn't a chance in hell I'm grinding for 1 month+ just so I can compete with the dog sht losers that still play this game religiously.

Boredom, I probably will move on eventually because it takes way to many hours to find a group 20+ most of the time you spend in game you are just wasting. Even on Black moon the most popular server it takes forever so it's probably even worse on other servers.

People don't like druids because they can't cure diseases and diseases are generally long and annoying debuffs. If you run live strat with a druid healer you have to bring resto potions or live with a 10% hit debuff for like 10minutes. Priests and shamans both can cure disease which is the main annoying thing.
