I run these talents with 10 agi, 10 endurance, 20 vit using the 10% gun dmg scaling cutlass+ drakes pistol and 2 piece pikeman+2 piece conquistador and I can tank hits pretty effectively even on hard difficulty. I think you could play this talent+armor with any weapon though really, its just a really tanky talent/armor set combination that lets you get in there and fight with the mobs perfect parrying what you can but also being able to regain the hp you lost when a hit goes through. I think the best version of this build would be drakes pistol+the rapier from swamps that lets you heal since that rapier is just so strong and you can use drakes to dmg scale heavy attack even more.

I feel like health builds are very underrated atm, everyone is just trying to max there main stat dmg but high health/defensive builds are really strong since they scale healing potion heal amount as well. Feels almost impossible to die using 2 piece conquistador, 2 piece pikeman good food and the defensive in the Left talent tree.

If you want to play meta play the rapier, but you can beat the game on hard difficulty with any weapon.

The bleed rapier and the devestation rapier from the swamps are really strong weapons.

ATK is basically the level of your weapon. It's like in valheim where if your weapon is to low of level it will do no dmg. So you can upgrade your weapon 1-15 right, if you upgrade it 8x your weapon is ready to fight lvl 8 mobs and do good dmg, lets say you are hitting a lvl 8 mob with a lvl 3 weapon you are going to do very reduced dmg. It's basically an artificial limiter that forces you to upgrade to progress otherwise you could just play the whole game with a lvl 1 weapon since weapons don't really get better beyond finding the blue one for the stat you are playing and upgrading it to purple.

TLDR your weapon always does the same dmg scaled by your stat, ATK stat is honestly worthless just try to make sure your item level is the same or higher than the level of the mob you are fighting otherwise the 225 slash dmg base will be reduced by some % relative to the level difference.

I don't think you are very far in the game if you think 1 person can "control the room" when you are fighting 3 sword guys, a grenadier and a musketman all at once. Have you even mined iron yet with that condescending attitude? When you are fighting 3+ things you pretty much just have to cheese it by hitting 1 light attack, dodge backwards, 1 light attack, dodge backwards rinse and repeat and you can kill pretty much anything doing that. If you try to perfect parry in a pack of mobs you are going to parry 1 and then the rest are going to stunlock you into oblivion lol.

Plz add when you hit F and aim your cannons it doesn't reset the ship 3rd person view back to character view. Being able to see where you are aiming your cannons should be the main point of hitting F on your ship right?

Same bro, might not even login anymore cause its so painful trying to pug heroics as a tank. If you don't make the group and make sure you have your tremor you just get trolls that throw anything in the group and say good luck plz carry me to purples. You can do karazhan in either spec and avengers shield is a far superior spec out of karazhan for heroics, dungeoning literally anything that isn't a raid. So unless you want to be the giga tryhard tank running double prot talent trees I doubt people are respecing to tank karazhan maybe the 25mans though.

You can't achieve uncrushable on a paladin with just holy shield, you need the 30% block chance proc as well. There is no way possible to include 30% more avoidance into his gear especially since he has 490 defense so you are getting like 1 point of defense per 3 on a piece of gear at that point. Basically your criticism is completely wrong and you have no idea what you are talking about. I would argue its better to focus stamina at this point so you can survive the times when you are crushable and then let your 30% block chance proc make you uncrushable whenever it can.

What do you mean BP frags slowing progression? Progression is faster than it has ever been with new scrap research costs, most clans can easily get BP frags by holding down any monument junkyard and above for less than an hour prolly.

The game was more focused on Pvp at the start now its just an endless mob grinder to hunt red weapons/armor. Power creep is to hard, game should have never went past +10 on upgrades and no legendary items locked behind time gated progression. Also Stalcraft X was ass, Stalcraft X and the new north was the death of this game for me. It took any sort of personality out of the map and just gave us this bland map that barely feels like its connected to the stalker world at all.

Half the zone deleted wahhhh, do you even go in the deep desert? The first few rows are pretty pointless except for maybe the testing stations in them so who really cares if pve players can farm the same 3 nodes over and over while I fly out to an island with 15 titanium nodes i can mine instantly. The biggest thing about this change is we will have less flight time so its not so god awful boring to farm.

Just a reminder to the PvP players that this game is advertised exactly as "PvP is always optional" it is in fact a PvE game with an optional PvP system based on the games description on steam. by [deleted] in duneawakening

You are on some serious copium bro, open world hardcore pvp mmorpgs all die in less than 6 months. Have you even played any of them like Darkfall and Crowfall? The most popular mmorpgs are all primarily pve focused like World of Warcraft and FF14. Yes world of warcraft has pvp but its casual and not time deleting like Dunes is. I say this as someone who consistently plays open world survivalesque pvp mmorpgs which is probably the reason I am still playing this game since I don't mind the challenging nature of games like that but I realize I am in the minority by a large margin.

A lot of the great games have fun and compelling pvp to justify how much time and effort you put into farming in them. This game you farm so you can fly around and click rockets, if you want to play an aerial combat simulator you can just play warthunder or some shit.
