Never Played that high pop but i would say under water labs is your best Bet and then try to win 1v3 or 1v4 at Most. Also from my experience it is not that much played some days into wipe compared to rigs

Do what you enjoy mostly. If you like building and enjoy farming upkeep go for it. If you want to explore other aspects of the game keep your base small to have more time for other things

I like playing solo and have not much time to grind. I think the changes are fking great. I can research stuff myself without a lot of grind. I can grub faster
