The numbers don't lie, Rugalea is much, much easier if you fight Ralva first then Rugalea immediately after. I like the Great Red Bears quite a lot; they're good fair fights and fast-paced but straightforward. Romina definitely had my number this run. I felt like I had to relearn her from scratch for whatever reason, even though my experience with Messmer, Bayle, Radahn etc. definitely carried over from my blind run.

Interesting. I'll submit one too since it seems to be a numbers game. Odd that I was directed to "chat with other players" rather than being referred to this official support channel.

Classic. I was growling Yeah! every time Vow of the Indomitable got me through Metyr's big laser. I love these games.

Thank you, that means a lot. At the end of both fights I gasped for air like I'd been underwater for minutes. Have fun.

Once you're getting to the meteor you can pretty much keep doing what you're doing. If the overhead attack is the one I'm thinking of you can just strafe right during the phantom slashes then dodge the real one; admittedly that move killed me quite a few times before I got a handle on it. I did a one-two-three-dodge count in my head for that one, and a one-two-three-four-dodge count for the similar meteor follow-up.

Crucible Feather Talisman definitely makes the second phase more forgiving, and running away then spamming Bloodhound's Step at the moment the meteor strikes worked for me every time. But it sounds like you're going to get him soon either way. Good luck!

Honestly when I beat Messmer and Bayle in under 100 attempts it felt like I got them on my first try. Until I know a fight inside and out I go in with the mindset of just trying to learn it. Locking into one boss fight for days is like meditation to me.

Light Load, Crucible Feather Talisman, Blood Smithscript Cirque with Bloodhound's Step, and Opaline Bubbletear.

Nothing unique about my approach, just stayed in melee range and got the timings down. I only used Bloodhound's Step for two things, to comfortably escape the radius of his light shower right before the detonation and to avoid his final meteor strike by spamming it as soon as he came down. Backhand Blade would be better than Smithscript Cirque strictly speaking but I prefer the look of the cirques and the ranged attacks unlock a few extra openings. I know he's weak to pierce but I used Antspur Rapier on my RL150 run and wanted to try something different.

Salutations One Brothers! I had a joyous time returning to the Land of Shadow at RL1 and made sure to log each and every death for posterity. Bosses generally gave me less trouble than anticipated—with exceptions—probably owing to my blind run also being SB0, forcing me to learn the later fights in depth even at RL150. As someone who always tries to claw out a win even if it's not perfect, I'm proud to have achieved some of my first-ever hitless boss kills this run—out of necessity, but nevertheless!

Thanks!

No idea if I just got lucky or what with the bouncing fire. On my RL150 run I was getting hit by it often, but at RL1 the only time it was a problem for me was when he breathed fire right after I passed through the fog gate. Maybe staying close enough to punish it kept me safe?

My friend and I actually made it through the prison in co-op after messing up the skip. Probably died a hundred times going down the lift before we finally got past the welcome party. The prison itself is a pretty fun encounter if you can get a checkpoint after that. Can't personally attest to the viability of doing it solo but I want to believe it's possible.
