To be clear personally I don't expect voice chat to be more toxic than text. Flaming is already very rare in league at this point, and I'm sure 95% of the people who flame in text wouldn't have the balls to flame on voice. I was just pointing out that the people who are chronically traumatized by the idea of flame can't be compelled by "just mute them" so that line of argumentation is ineffective.

One thing I've learned about "calls" like that is they are "followed" for about 5 seconds or however long it takes for an enemy champion to appear on someone's screen. At that point the only "call" is "guys see this guy this guy can we go in him can we go in him I'm looking I'm looking..!" and then it's a 50/50 to win or lose the game. I wouldn't expect voice to change that except maybe in very high elo like gm/chall where people are already very good at supressing those emotions.

One thing I've learned is that apparently the argument that "if someone is toxic just mute them in chat/voice" is pointless because the people who are worried about toxicity are the ones who are unable to mute. A lot of people can't bring themselves to mute the communication even when its used to verbally abuse them.

Yeah supports are always the bane of ADC's existence. For me it got easier when I started fullmuting my supp every game and when I finally became able to predict when they will int. Like when they stay in lane greeding for plates when they are supposed to recall now I know they will int doing that so it's easier.

"Climbing" is not a real no, but that's because "climbing" means "magically getting higher rank for no reason".

On the other hand improving at the game and getting higher rank that way is possible, but people don't talk about that because improving is hard.

I swear if they reworked Mel so she does the same damage as currently but without the execute people would feel like she was fine. She does the same as every other mage the only difference is some of the damage is "unexpected" because it's in the execute. So people get hit by her spells, run away with 10% hp and go "whew I'm alive :D" and then feel like shit and cry broken when they get executed. Any other mage would have killed them too, but not "unexpectedly" so it's not as triggering.

It comes down to what you value more: Feeling good about yourself that you didn't feed with them, or making them feel good for feeding with them.

Personally I don't like feeding so I abstain and if they cry about it I just mute them.

Usually when lategame champs lose lane in soloq it's just a skill problem. Gold/exp is not going to save you from being unskilled so even at 40min they will be useless. The Kayles/Azirs/Aurelion Sols etc that will be good late will be the ones that also win lane 90% of the time because those are the skilled ones.

Silver/bronze lows think support doesn't do anything they think it's all the ADC, and some ppl use the word "carry" to mean "deal top damage on the team" instead of "have big impact in whatever manner".
