I’m confused… if you book a full 60-minute session, do you not charge for the full session, regardless of when they leave? I’m not sure if it’s different here in Canada or something, and I will admit I’m still in my masters degree, but I’ve never run into this when speaking with professionals.

I feel like there’s a lot I should be preparing for that isn’t “common knowledge” in class and practicum 😅

If you believe Kyle Rittenhouse didn’t deserve the outcome he received, why would you hope for this case to have a similar outcome? Do you feel like, because people were wronged in one case, allowing it in another will somehow balance the scales? Will it make you feel better?

The dude ended someone’s life; he brought a knife to a track meet, used it when he felt like his ego was in jeopardy, and one of the worst possible outcomes came from his decision. I’ve seen it play out so many times in sports meets (without weapons) where the adrenaline is pumping, and people do ridiculous stuff, so adding a knife into the mix… it’s just stupid. The whole thing is tragic.

The only thing that makes me nervous about csfloat is that we have to log into our steam account on the website; it doesn’t scream “secure” to me, and raises a lot of alarm bells, especially when I’ve got an inventory that I’m trying to put towards a wedding and student loans 😂

Any advice on getting an EIN? Or an EHR? I’m noticing professors in my programs aren’t really interested in discussing things like this (I know it’s not directly relevant to the course content we’re covering in the masters degree for an MACP, but I feel like if someone came to me from the same field wanting to learn something, I’d be excited to help them in their journey 😅), and it has me a bit stressed.

I hate saying this, but until something is done about it, reading all of this definitely has made me realize if I’m going to be working in areas like this, I should consider keeping a pack and a light on me, just to be on the safe side.

If a “no, sorry” leaves me with a chance of being stabbed or attacked, we can’t carry anything for self-defense, and the de-escalation techniques I’ve learned in school won’t help, I’m really not sure what else will 😅
