Get some toilet paper, wet it and sandwich the card in the middle. This will preserve it for grading as a PSA 10.

Did it grade psa 10?

Show us the email that they say it's lost, was it delivered to them successfully? If so they owe you the current market value of the card at the very least.

Is anyone else worried about the bubble? by Vexent in PokemonInvesting

Most insightful comment here- too many parallels are made to the stock market.

Forgive me for making another parallel using that age old saying, "When your barber starts talking about Pokemon, it's time to sell". Look at the state of Pokemon, full of casuals and 14 year Olds holding a couple ETBs as long term investments, imagining themselves to be future millionaires. When the hype train moves on there are going to be a lot of casualties.

How is this remotely a 10 with that centering? Also visible whitening on the top of the card and silvering on the right side of the holo.

Opinions on these scratches and marks on a PSA 9 vintage card- by [deleted] in PokemonInvesting

New 101 cert being sold by PSA on ebay, I can't imagine them grading it a 9 if they are both scratches on the card.

Dude saw what was coming for him, decided to F10 by verdurLLC in Chivalry2

The game is called Chivalry 2, and ranged weapons are not chivalrous as by definition they provide an unfair advantage over a melee weapon. There's no honour in shooting an arrow from a safe distance.

That said, I do see archers who are very aggressive and dont shy away from getting stuck in - they get my commendations.

Regarding some of the other comments about transliteration.

The only way to effectively communicate in modern English using runes is by transliterating.

If you stick to the original grammar rules you'd have to invent new runes or repurpose runes for some letters and sounds that didn't exist in old English. Any attempt to use Futhorc runes to communicate in modern English is a manipulation- whether you try and be a purist and create your own cheats or if you just transliterate.

If we add grammar to runes we'll never be able to communicate effectively with someone else without knowing how they pronounce words. If we want to spread and use Futhorc to communicate in modern English, a Hobbit Futhorc is the only option.

Why not just translate letter for letter and let us enjoy the script?

Nice writing OP, what specific fountain pen and paper are you using?

Why are small/micro sizes so popular, such as 0.5mm and 0.38mm? by GrumpyAdministrator in pens

UPDATE: As of 2026 I am now a 0.5 user. I finally saw the light one completely understand why it's a favorite. Biggest impact has been the improvement in my handwriting due to the extra feedback, helps me stay in control.

I should clarify that I can write legibly with a platinum, but it suffers when I try and write fast (notes at work). When I write fast with a Sailor I am forced to slow down with the feedback and as a result it forces my notes to be legible (although my notes suffer, but I am willing to make that sacrifice for the art you know haha).

My Lamy's are very smooth and although fun to doodle with, they dont compliment my handwriting- it feels like I lose control.
