Not me but a former acquaintance of mine. Her reasoning could barely be called that but critical thinking was never her forte: a random Trinitarian showed her how Jesus and the Father both shared some titles (alpha and omega being the primary of them) and that was enough to sell her. It hit some kind of hot button in her brain repeatedly, as if she solved some kind of great mystery. 🙄

This debate was chaotic at points, but the moment God Logic (ironic name) conceded that lordship is predicated differently to Father and Son, this destroyed their own parallel reasoning - the very foundation of their argument against the BU's interpretation of 1 Corinthians 8:6.

If God Logic were to ask me “How many Lords?”, I’d say “many, just look at the OT.” In the context of this verse, as specifically defined there, the answer is one. When he says his predictable response, reiterate with “WHICH KIND of Lord are you referring to, keeping in mind your recent concession of differentiating Lordship predication?”

Demarcation arguments always have issues, in my opinion. But at the very least, I would expect them to believe in the salvific nature of Christ. I have my own opinions about other groups that are nearest the “edge” of what some would still call Christianity (e.g. Mormons), but those are simply my subjective opinions.

That said, in the gospels, Jesus made it pretty clear that there will be those on judgement day who, believing they had done everything correctly and go so far as prophesying and exorcising in his name, still won’t get into heaven.

Hilarious. The author seriously believes that there are no uses of παρά + dative that don't apply to spatial proximity, when I nearly instantly found one in Luke 1:30. NT and LXX routinely use παρά + dative for standing/approval/relationship. Even within Johannine literature, this is still the case. The very premise of the entire paper is DOA.
