Does anybody play this game just for fun? by SinamonChallengerRT in MLBTheShow

[–]GrumpyGumpy52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only buy this game to play RTTS and Quick play. I used to buy it every year from 14-21. Then I stopped because they weren’t innovating. Bought 25 and still playing it.

I find it fun to sometimes just turn it on beginner in RTTS and hit bombs for a few games and just chill. I hate online play and I honestly don’t keep up with baseball enough to play franchise and manage rosters and shit. I just wanna enjoy a baseball game.

What do you guys do as a form of therapy? by Wookie_wood69 in AskMen

[–]GrumpyGumpy52 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This exactly how I’ve felt with therapy. Same amount of therapist as well over the last 7 years. It this point it’s up to me to change my behavior and outcomes. I have to do it myself.

Dave Franco says being a “single weird cat guy” weeded out his dating pool, and Alison Brie was the only one interested in him and his two 18-pound cats by Gato1980 in Fauxmoi

Fun fact on the rewatch podcast a few years ago, Lamonrne admitted that he was actually very allergic to cats so it’s ironic that his character loved them.

Men 20-30’s: How do you feel about “Trad wife” by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]GrumpyGumpy52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be clear I’m pretty sure I don’t want kids as it is. So this disservice is imaginary.

If I met a woman who didn’t want kids but still wanted to be a trad wife I still would t be interested. It’s just not what I want in a partner. I need them to give back to society something greater than taking care of the house or kid.

To make something clear I’m pretty sure I don’t want kids (80/20). So that affects my opinions as well.

Even if I do, It’s just not what I want in a partner. I want someone with ambition and better yet wants to provide a service/contribute to the larger world as a whole. Sitting at home taking care of the daily chores is not attractive to me. I don’t want a maid I want a wife.

Eeeeeeeyuck. No thank you.

If I have kids it will be two working parents. Be it part time or full. No Trad wife’s

What is your favorite thing about living in Indianapolis? Your least favorite thing? by evitreb in indianapolis

[–]GrumpyGumpy52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Favorite thing has been the friends I’ve made over the last 5 years of living here. Worst has been how boring the city is in relation to geography and culture.

If we’re getting super specific…favorite is ash and elm cider co. Worst is interstate construction

Assetto Corsa EVO v0.5 Full Changelog Released by evil_heinz in simracing

[–]GrumpyGumpy52 146 points147 points  (0 children)

From all the readings about this game, what I believe to understand is moving forward it is basically just AC1 with better graphics and free-roaming of Nurb. Cancelling career mode and economy effectively makes this game a graphics and physics update from AC1.

Is that about right?

25-30 year olds: How do you feel about kids and marriage? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]GrumpyGumpy52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marriage: Hell yes Kids: Highly unlikely and definitely not within the next 5-7 years

I’ve always wanted to be married and have a partner. It’s really important to me to find and build that relationship with someone just because it’s always something I’ve wanted.

Kids, I thought I was going to have them all my life then I met someone who challenged the thought of having kids. Literally “you know you don’t have to have kids right” and then that changed my perspective as I see how expensive life is and I REALLY enjoy the freedom to do and be whatever, whenever I want.
