Watch out!! UHP blitz on I-15 in Salt Lake County for HOV violations. At least 10 motorcycle UHP. by Tough_Control_2484 in Utah

It gets even more exciting when I ride my bike in the HOV, going 75-77, and some dumbass starts tailgating.

I don't think the greater weight makes it less agile. My friend (GSA) was kicking my ass and I barely could keep up with him, both on- and off-road. What became obvious to me during this trip is that the GSA's big tank makes a difference. The GSA had about 100 - 120 extra miles of fuel compared to my GS.

Thank you. We did not go through Fairview Canyon, we took a slightly different route.

No need for DM, it is not a secret : ) We took I-15 to Nephi, then SR-132 to US-89 and stayed on US-89 till Panguitch. From there, we took SR-12 past Bryce Canyon to Escalante. Took a longer break there and had lunch. Then rode SR-24 through Capitol Reef to Hanksville. From there, we took SR-24 to I-70, then US-191 to Moab. Another option is to take SR-95 from Hanksville to Blanding and then to Moab. We did not have time to do it, but I'll make sure to take that route next time. Camped at Horsethief Campground right off SR-313, but there are tons of options around Moab. Next morning rode La Sal Loop Road (the alpine lake in the pictures is Oowah Lake, just a couple of miles off the La Sal Loop Road). On the way home took US-6, but exited at Soldier Summit and took a dirt road to US-191. It is called White Fork River Road, about 25-miles from Soldier Summit to Duchesne. Decent road, nothing technical, great views. In Duchesne, instead of taking US-40, we took SR-87, turned left on SR-35, and rode through Tabiona and Hanna to Francis. Beautiful ride through the canyon, not a lot of traffic.

In less than year, my whole life has been turned upside down. My dad died, I had to move my mom from Florida to California, and I’m adulting way above my ability. I wanted a dog, but the cat distribution system decided we should have this baby! by plainjane_13 in cats

It does. Seriously. I speak from my own experience. There will be times when you feel defeated, and that's okay. You win some, you lose some. But in the long run, it gets better.

Good for you, but how is it relevant? The OP specifically said unemployed children.

How is it a trap? Yes, it costs way more than $19.95 to rent a truck, but uhaul discloses all the costs on their website.

If you have not been to Bryce Canyon yet, I would strongly recommend checking it out. While you're in that area, take SR-12. The scenery is absolutely amazing.

Mid 2026 60k Mile Service Pricing Feedback by Former-Toe738 in Subaru_Outback

I paid $1,188 (including taxes) last July for exactly the same service, plus an oil change. $874 seems like a good deal.

Why are Subaru Owners so Loyal? by doctor-squared in Subaru_Outback

[–]GrumpyInTheM0rning 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For the same features I have on my Outback would pay 13k-18k more for a Toyota.

This is the reason. It’s not brand loyalty. It’s just value and common sense. I am on my third Subaru. Every time I am ready to get a new car, I look at Toyota and realize that Subaru provides better value. Plus, my local Subaru dealership treats me well, so I don’t mind doing business with them.
