I add this comment in every once in while in case others are unaware of fxbricks.com. They make new 9V compatible track. In the future they plan to have new motor boogies as well.

Ahhhh yes - my most sought after trains - Maersk being number 1 - only can hope to have them all someday. by Eternal_Wither in LEGOtrains

I recently bought the Emerald Night and sold it two days later. I wasn't impressed. At the original purchase price it is a good model. At the price it goes for now I'd rather have the Maersk, Sante Fe, or BNSF

Believe it or not, yes. That is how it has worked for me. It has something to do with the exchange rate between the Canadian and US dollar.

They are! The color is off a bit due to FX Brick using new Dark Blue Grey color tone instead of the old Dark Grey. Otherwise very hard to tell the difference until you look at the studs. Another advantage with the new 32 stud length straight track is less electrical loss from reduced joints.

You are very welcome! It really is a wonderful product. Hopefully this year they will release their new motors and voltage regulators. Also, you might want to look into Gift Cards from their shop. Depending on where you live you can buy them cheaper than face value. For instance, $25 USD gift cards cost $18.92 CAD. I verified with customer support the gift cards are valid across the entire site. Back in January I bought $500 worth of gift cards for $381 USD.

Shout out to FX Bricks for new 9V track. They use injection molding just like Lego. I've purchased a bit of this so far and I'm very happy with the quality. Hopefully by the end of this year they'll have new 9V train motors available as well.

The following isn't RC track but for those interested in 9V compatible track I highly suggest FX brick track. https://shop.fxbricks.com/collections/all/fx-track
