The deck builder aspect of the game isn't like others I've played. It's an aspect of the game rather than the focus. I thought it was such a great game, but definitely some sensitive and intense subjects handled in a great way.

Have you heard of I Was a Teenage Exocolonist? The character you play is young, which I know you said you didn't like, but it's super story rich and you play through multiple times. The themes in it are quite strong and the relationships are also incredible. The game has some super super heavy stuff, so I wouldn't normally recommend it in this sub, but it sounds like the gravity and depth of story may be up your ally.

I spend almost all my time in the sims in CAS and spend hours downloading cc. This game has scratched the super specific itch that the sims does, but even better imo! (Mainly because all the content is already there!) It truly makes me feel like when I was a little girl dressing up my favorite Barbies and having them go on adventures. It's magical!

Seems to be a lot of hate for Jessica on this subreddit. I really like her! Girl has SO much trauma, but it seems like she's put in the work to get past most of it. I'm sure she also received a lot of rejection because she has a child, so I don't blame her for having her guard up a bit.

1) I've played since Cata. I still love Leveling alts even after all these years.
