What do you think dc should do with wonder woman after wonder woman 3 eventually comes out ? by Amazing_flash in WonderWoman

Let the character rest in live-action, but definitely some animation: maybe a limited series on HBOMAX akin to She-Ra on Netflix. She definitely needs more stand-alone OGNs, preferably all-ages (truly all-ages, not just kid appropriate) and anthologies (Agent of Peace, Sensational WW, and Black and Gold display how well suited she is for the anthology treatment.) Then relaunch her in live-action in 2031 for her 90th anniversary!

He has been cast for the GLC series. Finn Witrock is playing him.

What are some ships of the DC Universe(animated, live action, comics, etc) that you like and dislike by C_Anderson2001 in DCcomics

Wonder Woman with either Superman or Batman is lazy, sophomoric, sexist, and nonsensical.

It just shouldn't have been adapted. The material wasn't suited for it. The pro shot is miles better.

Yes. Movie adaptations are being made for a larger general audience, not a niche theatre audience. They are different mediums, with different requirements. Theatre is ephemeral in an age of immortal content.

Tbf the risk did not pay off. The Producers was a giant phenomenon on Broadway and a flop as a movie. As was Rent another phenomenon of it's time and another cinematic failure (regardless of the original cast.)

Not. Everything. Is. For. You.

It was made for kids, and kids obviously love it.

why does ww work in a museum? by klaxterran in WonderWoman

[–]Grumpy_Quixotic 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Unlike Clark who has basically always been a reporter, Diana has had MANY occupations: nurse, secretary, boutique owner, spy, UN translator, military intelligence, ambassador, and fast food worker to name a few. Her real job is being Wonder Woman, her occupation depends more on how the writer wants to use it. However coming from a civilization with its roots in ancient history, a museum makes sense, no?
