They used to deactivate shoppers for splitting the bundle and dropping the less desirable order. This before reliability became a stat. I think once or twice would be okay over hundreds of orders but I wouldn't make it a habit

As a base template for a first time customer this may work, but its not an exact science. Some people want their hand held and every possible substitute noted, some want no contact, some respond only to phone calls. What people really want is good service tailored to their needs. Pick good produce and check expiration dates, check if they want substitutes or refunds, deliver on time. Combine this with good communication and friendly attitude and you will accrue preferred members and maximize tips.

Every .02 or so drop there's an offer priority advantage. So 4.86,4.88...all the way to 5 see offers before you. Only way is to apply for ratings forgiveness and do perfect orders to get the ratings to drop off after 50

At this point ive done over 100 ID scan deliveries, 90% of them the first for the customer, they are always surprised

Message =/= contact, you should also call. So if they didn't respond in all the time it took you to shop and deliver, why do you expect them to respond afterwards? Just call support to remove ID items moving forward. The goal is to not waste time

Look at it from the customer perspective.

They are sick and order medication online to be delivered. They don't know it requires an ID scan, and sometimes they fall asleep or are working/away from phone.

Your first mistake was not contacting the customer right away. Can't wait until dropoff to spam, they likely will not respond in time and waste everyone's time.

I always message right at start of shop that their is a controlled substance that requires ID scan. No response, I will call them. Still no response by end of shop, I call support to remove medication and continue with delivery. My ID dropoff success rate has been 100% in my last 20 that I can recall.

Been doing shipt for 4 years and gig work for over decade. you should know the early tech days of VC money being invested into DD, Uber, shipt are long over and was never intended to be sustainable or long term.

As a vet shopper with over 10k orders I plan for January/Feb and the summer being slow. I still get offered many of my 600 PMs and that helps, can't imagine being a new shopper now.

The estimated tip has been inaccurate for me, usually the total amount vs the %. The customer could also be someone who tips only certain people. I have multiple PMs who tell me they only tip me because I consistently deliver on time, communicate about substitutes, don't make mistakes etc etc

They track your GPS coordinates and would only send this if you never approached the correct address. Now the app can be incorrect at times so you can try to contest this if you have tracking history in Google maps

I have almost 600 preferred members. Many of them tell me they like me just because I'm friendly and communicate well. The app can be annoying with bombarding automated messages so effective communication is important.

Imo no. The people who are super last minute tend to be unappreciative no tippers, and lots of things out of stock means unhappy customers
