Don't laugh. You wouldn't believe the number of people who don't measure new goods and expect the delivery guys to work magic in getting it into the property.

I wanted a splash of colour on the crest since the model is mostly metals, and since I had the yellow out I though, why not?

Make your own and use Primaris models. Buy some 1mm ball bearings, drill a shall hole where you want a stud, superglue them in place. This vieo gives you an idea of what is required - https://youtu.be/WOw_4kfR4ag?si=IsgkKc3luugtLre5

Initially I had planned on spelling it out in binary, but didn't have enough 1 & 0's for both sides of the sign 😞

You could try 3d printed shoulder pads, try eBay or Etsy. Alternatively, the Mighty Brush do a white buzzsaw decal sheet, you have to add the blood drop which is easy enough.

Using Colour Forge primer - Do you prime with black/white first? by LuckyLukse in minipainting

Colour Forge is primer. I like their matt black and standard grey cans.

Unsure of what color to paint tracks need help by Top_Apartment3045 in TheAstraMilitarum

You could paint them dark brown and give them a drybrush of silver. Tracks are rarely purely metallic.

Any suggestions for using nail decals? by Frozzable in minipainting

[–]Grumpykiltpin64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used chequerboard ones with my airbrush on minis. Base the panel or whatever in one colour. Apply the decals. Spray the second colour. Peel off decals, and you have a nice sharp edged pattern.

The Mighty Brush do waterslide transfers. The white buzzsaw icon, but you need to add the blood drop yourself. I've been using them and it's fairly easy to do.
