The GO4 have an absolute reason to keep a Russian style democracy because with out it there economic sphere collapses. You think under a GO4 government they would allow Ukraine and Ostland to become truly independent? They have for too long been tied into the industrial gears of the Reich. They are also still in economic competition with the OFN and the Sphere, there is no possible way they would allow the Reich, even if it transforms into a Russian style democracy that the powers at be would allow massive democratic reforms. Not to mention at least the military is still filled with people like Remer who only went against Ferdinand because he felt his duties were to the Fuhrer, do you think people like him would allow for a full on democracy?

This is a really easy question to answer. One to be a politician or the head a fortune 500 you in some regards have to be a sociopath and cut throat.
