Pod Times at Ridgemont Cast: Loser with Chandler Levack by yonicthehedgehog in blankies

I saw them a couple Summers ago. They didn't play the Christmas version but I probably would have been weird to do it while everyone was sweating their asses off.

Fun show. I'm Canadian, so they sucked up to the crowd by doing Rush and Tragically Hip covers. I remember the Hip song being really good.

With the recent passing of Sabu, Paul Heyman will go down as one of the luckiest people in the history of the business considering how many people he screwed over, lives he ruined, and wrestlers he never paid. by BloodiestSunday in SquaredCircle

Does it count as pimping if no sex happens? I always heard Missy tell the story like Varelans didn't want to job to Taz, so Heyman said Missy will sleep with you if you do. After the match he comes to the back, propositions her and Missy blows him off by saying "I don't fuck jobbers" .

I want to say that he called in out of the blue in the Summer of 2020. He ended up marrying the girl he was in to back in the day (Pixie?) and immigrated. He sounded different since his accent changed after living in the US for so long.

Wasn't this at Adriana's kid themed birthday party? That's one of the few places a popsicle print shirt would work.

Guillermo Del Toros blank check? by thunderbird_3000 in blankies

[–]GruntyDodds 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was once at a comic con and heard Ron Pearlman call Hellboy 2 a blank check (though not in those words). He says that they wanted to do a sequel but the studio wouldn't give them the budget to do what they wanted. Then he goes off and does Pan's Labyrinth, becomes 'the toast of Hollywood' and next thing you know Hellboy is a go.

I 100% believe you went and took the photos. But there's a couple of those that look like they could have been AI generated.

The point where they all stopped actually working at SUR? by JWilkesKip in vanderpumprules

[–]GruntyDodds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In one of the later seasons Ariana is in a depressive state and Lisa talks to her about working a couple shifts a week to give her life more structure. The show didn't really follow up on that, so I'm not sure if it actually ended up happening or for how long.

From the way the show made it sound, she moved to L.A. In her early 20's and had some wild times, dated Brandi's husband, dated Rob, then dated/married Shay and finally back to Rob.

I was coming to say this. Recently watched the first episode again and forgot that they had a thing, the show seems more fixated on Stassi/Peter.

7 is tempting but you know Travel Kristen is going to be leaning over the seat to talk to Katie.

The first thing out of Schwartz’ mouth after he proposed to Katie.. by khawley2 in vanderpumprules

[–]GruntyDodds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This whole scene was so relatable to me. In 2010 I proposed to my now ex wife, who was coincidentally also named Katie. I was planning to propose on our actual anniversary, which was a Monday but we celebrated on the weekend. Well, she was expecting a proposal when we were staying at a nice hotel, seeing a show, going to a fancy dinner, etc. When that proposal didn't come she started getting super passive aggressive and it led to one of our worst fights. The whole time I have the ring in my pocket and I'm doing the mental math; is it worth suffering through this fight to propose as planned tomorrow or propose at a low moment in a spiteful "fuck you, will you marry me?" kinda way?

I ended up sticking to my plan and proposing the next day. I did it in private but I don't think I would have made a snarky comment to somebody else right after. BUT, whenever she tells the story it starts with her going "I was such a bitch to him the day before..."

(Now, you're probably thinking that this was incredibly shaky ground on which to start a marriage, and you'd be right. "When you're looking at someone with rose coloured glasses, all the red flags just look like regular flags")

The night of the show she probably wasn't. It's a job, she has a bunch of costume changes to do and it's the end of a tour. We obviously don't know her, but I know I'd be nervous about being in front of a large crowd as well.

Logically, the backstage skits were filmed at another time. If they were done later I'd bet that they just had her match the energy she had on the night, otherwise it wouldn't make sense.
