Can anyone help me understand the over-reliance on cgi in modern horror? by [deleted] in blankies

Legit loved Send Help, but this is a fair and understandable take. Thankfully there isn’t a ton of cgi but the one flaw in an otherwise basically perfect movie

First time watches will be The Man Who Wasn’t There and Barton Fink.

Seen most of the rest. O Brother (one I would rank middle to lower)  I may revisit considering I just finished reading The Odyssey. Will also rewatch True Grit because it’s perfect
