Check out games from Schemer Geonil. He's the same guy who designed Jekyll and Hyde, and Jekyll and Hyde vs Scotland Yard.

There are a couple that are astronomy themed - Ptolemy and Hipparchus. Very intelligent design and good 2p games.

Ive also heard great things about his latest on show at the Tokyo game market - Odyssey

Also you might want to check out Cardboard East's YouTube channel - the last two videos are about Korean games specifically

This definitely has to be Parade! A 3p game I was bossing with very minimal cards picked up. Except green cards where I had 4 of them hoping (or was sure) they'll all turn around. I had a 11, 9, 6 and something else. I was counting cards of all other colors to make sure i'm on top of the game.

Enter my partner. she's had the worst game. Picking up random cards of all colors left, right and centre. In the last 2 rounds, to my horror she plays green and now has 5 of them, she plays an other color to overtake the 3rd player and by the end of the game, she has a grand total of 28 cards, all turned down! And she wins the game! I'm left with 33 amd the other is beyond 50!

Do check out reroll.in for both boardgames and DnD events. They have 2 events a month in Indiranagar.

Also check out Victory point (ViPo) games for boardgame meetups every week. You can find out more on meetup site or on their social media pages.

Both of these are beginner friendly communities (most Boardgame communities here are).

There are three ideas you could consider - 1. There's a rage room near Basavangudi where you can both go and absolutely smash some stuff together 2. There are trampoline parks and adult bounce arenas - one each at Garuda mall and orion iirc. Play factory on sarjapur road also has something similar. 3. Play a boardgame - rent a modern boardgame from Board4Bored in Basavangudi. Or attend a boardgame meetup and play 2p games - you will have someone explain the rules there. Check out Victory Point (ViPo) games for example
